Please note: Free Standard Shipping is offered on orders of $75 or more shipped to a single U.S. address. If you are shipping to multiple locations, each address must have an order total of $75 or more to receive Free Shipping.
For your convenience, we offer Express Delivery on most in-stock items for an additional charge. During checkout, you'll be prompted to select a shipping method for each recipient. Shipping and handling charges plus a delivery date will be listed for all available shipping methods. See the chart below for charges and delivery times based on destination. Please note: Monogramming, engraving or alterations might add additional processing time. Some items, such as furniture, might take longer for delivery and incur oversized delivery and handling charges (these are listed on individual product pages and will be provided during checkout).
Free Ship-to-Store Delivery
Most available items can be shipped free to the L.L.Bean store near you, where you can pick them up at your convenience. If you would like to ship an order to a store, please call us to place an order at 1-800-441-5713.
Backordered items, as well as some items that require special handling (such as furniture, boats and gift cards), cannot be shipped to a store. We are unable to ship items to L.L.Bean Outlets®.
Oversized Freight Delivery
For oversized items that ship by freight, you'll see an estimate of the delivery time on the product page, as well as a pop-up window with complete information about freight delivery. When you place your order, be sure to provide a daytime phone number so the freight company can contact you when the order is ready for delivery. You should obtain the freight company's phone number in case you need to change the delivery time.
For most freight items, delivery is "to the curb." The driver is not responsible for carrying the package into your home. Please arrange for help to move the package if needed, and be sure someone is available to sign for the delivery at the scheduled time.
We ask that you always inspect your package for damage before signing for the delivery. If the package is damaged but the merchandise looks unaffected, note the damage on all delivery receipts before signing. If the package is damaged to an extent the merchandise may be damaged, please refuse delivery and call our Customer Service department at 800-341-4341.
Shipping to Multiple Addresses
To ship to multiple addresses, you'll need to place a separate order for each address.
We recommend you start by adding more addresses to your account. Log onto llbean.com and select “My Account”, and then “Saved Addresses.” Then go back to your shopping bag and click the “Shipping to” dropdown menu, selecting the nickname for the address you set up in your account.
