Free standard shipping is valid on orders of $50 or more (after promotions and discounts are applied) shipped to a single US or Canadian address.
Purchase of L.L.Bean Gift Cards and Outdoor Discovery Schools programs and trips, as well as taxes, duty charges and any shipping or other fees do not apply toward the minimum purchase requirement. Services such as monogramming, gift boxing and engraving do apply toward the minimum purchase requirement.

Free Ship-to-Store Delivery
Most in-stock items can be shipped free to the L.L.Bean store near you, where you can pick them up at your convenience–usually in about seven days.
Backordered items, as well as some items that require special handling (such as furniture, boats, bikes and gift cards), cannot be shipped to a store. We are unable to ship items to L.L.Bean Outlets®.

Oversized Freight Delivery
For oversized items that ship by freight, you'll see an estimate of the delivery time on the product page, as well as a pop-up window with complete information about freight delivery. When you place your order, be sure to provide a daytime phone number so the freight company can contact you when the order is ready for delivery. You should obtain the freight company's phone number in case you need to change the delivery time.
For most freight items, delivery is "to the curb." The driver is not responsible for carrying the package into your home. Please arrange for help to move it if needed, and be sure someone is available to sign for the delivery at the scheduled time.
We ask that you always inspect your package for damage before signing for the delivery. If the package is damaged but the merchandise looks unaffected, note the damage on all delivery receipts before signing. If the package is damaged to an extent the merchandise may be damaged, please refuse delivery and call our Customer Service department at 800-341-4341.
Shipping to Multiple Addresses
After you've added all your items to your Shopping Bag, click the Shopping Bag icon in the upper right corner of any page.
Click the button labeled "Ship to Multiple Addresses" and then click the "Shipping to" dropdown menu next to your first item. If you have an llbean.com account, you can log in and choose from your list of previously saved recipients. Otherwise, choose "Add New Recipient" and enter a nickname (like "Dad" or "Suzie at Work"). We'll ask you for the shipping address during checkout.
Repeat these steps with each item in your order, then proceed to checkout.
You can add more addresses anytime by going to your llbean.com account and clicking "Saved Addresses."
Please note: free standard shipping is offered on orders of $50 or more shipped to a single U.S. address. If you are shipping to multiple locations, each address must have an order total $50 or more to receive free shipping.
