Becoming an L.L.Bean Bootlegger

Take the wheel and head for adventure

Our Bootmobile Drivers — known proudly as Bootleggers — roll across the country bringing the L.L.Bean brand to life with unforgettable events, popular products, and a one-of-a-kind ride. Along the way, they meet thousands of people, from college students to local communities, creating meaningful moments everywhere they go.

See what it’s really like to be behind the wheel of the Bootmobile — from miles on the road to hosting exciting live events.

The Open Road Leads to Incredible Opportunities

Bootleggers don’t just drive the Bootmobile — they lead special events, connect with people from all over, create fun social content, and represent our brand with pride. And the journey doesn’t stop there. Many Bootleggers turn the skills they learn on the road into meaningful careers across L.L.Bean in marketing, creative, retail leadership, and more.

Meet Our Bootleggers

With thousands of miles logged and countless people met along the way, you can bet our Bootleggers have some stories to tell.
