Promotions, Bean Bucks & Gift Cards
If promotion requires a promo code, click "Add Promo Code" in your Shopping Bag (below your order summary on the right-hand side). Enter your code and click "Redeem." Your savings will be applied to your order. You can also enter a promo code on the Payment Options screen during checkout.
If you were offered a promotion via email, simply click the link in the email offer and the code will automatically be applied to your order.
Please note We will display promotional savings as early as possible in your shopping session. Generally, you can expect to see promotional savings on the Payment Options and Review and Place Order screens. For promotions that require a minimum order value, your savings will appear only after you meet the minimum dollar amount.
Promotions that offer a dollar amount or percentage discount off your total purchase price may not be combined in a single order. When a single order qualifies for more than one of these promotions, you will receive the discount that provides you the greatest benefit.
Minimum Order Values for Promotions
Minimum Order Value is calculated before any promotional discounts are applied. All of the following charges apply:
• Products and services excluded from promotions
• Backordered merchandise
• Gift cards
• L.L.Bean Outdoor Discovery Schools® Adventures
• Gift boxing
Certain products may become available at special savings through vendors. When this occurs, you may be able to order two or more of the same items at a special price (example: "2 for $35"). You can also split the order so it ships to more than one address. To use this option, please call 800-341-4341 to place your order by phone.
Promotional Gift Cards
Some promotions offer free gift cards with a minimum purchase. These promotional gift cards can be redeemed during checkout using the same procedure as regular gift cards (see above). Terms and Conditions may differ from other gift cards; see complete terms and conditions.
Bean Bucks earned through our L.L.Bean Mastercard member benefits can be redeemed in any amount, up to but not exceeding the order value. If you are logged into an llbean.com account with a saved L.L.Bean Mastercard, our system will display your total amount of available Bean Bucks. In the Shopping Cart, simply click "Redeem" to apply the maximum amount to your purchase. This applies up to the order value but does not exceed. To apply a custom amount of Bean Bucks towards your purchase and not the maximum, select “Choose a different amount” on the Payment Options screen during checkout and select the specific amount you’d like to apply.

Redeeming Gift Cards & E-Gift Cards
It's easy to apply your gift card during the checkout process.
1. Find your gift card number. Scratch away the coating on the back of the card to reveal the PIN. If you have an e-gift card, click the "View My E-Gift Card" button on the email you received.
2. Enter the gift card number in the "Promo Codes and Gift Cards" section on the Payment Options screen.
3. Enter the PIN in the field that appears as you enter the card number.
4. Click "Redeem." Your gift card amount will be applied to your order.

L.L.Bean Gift Card and E-Gift Card Terms and Conditions
The L.L.Bean Gift Card is honored for merchandise purchased at our retail stores and outlets, through our catalogs, at llbean.com and for Outdoor Discovery Schools® Adventures. This card has no expiration date or fees. It cannot be redeemed for cash (except where required by law). Treat this card like cash, as it cannot be replaced if lost, damaged or stolen. Use of this card indicates acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
Frequently Asked Questions about Gift Cards
1. When does my gift card expire?
There is no expiration date on L.L.Bean Gift Cards. Promotional gift cards (cards earned by making a minimum purchase during a promotional period) do expire; refer to the front of your promotional gift card or the email you received for the expiration date.
2. How can I check the balance on my gift card?
To check your balance, visit llbean.com/giftcardbalance and enter your card number and PIN.
3. Do I need to print my e-gift card in color or use a special printer?
No, the important thing is that the card number is clear. If you are planning to redeem your e-gift card at one of our stores, you can use your mobile phone or tablet instead of printing it. Simply show a phone display of the gift card at checkout.
4. Do I need to redeem the entire gift card all at once?
When you redeem an L.L.Bean Gift Card or e-gift card during checkout, the balance due on the order will be deducted from the gift card's value. If the value of the gift card is greater than the amount applied to your order, the remaining card value can be applied to a future order.
Promotional gift cards (such as the $10 gift cards earned with a minimum purchase), have no cash value and are applied as a merchandise discount; any unused amount will be forfeited at the time of redemption.
5. I did not receive my gift card. What should I do?

6. What if I lost my gift card or e-gift card?
Your gift card has cash value and should be safeguarded as such. If you lose your gift card, contact us immediately. If your gift card has not been redeemed or has some remaining value, we can cancel the original and issue you a new gift card for that value.
