áby Georgia55 Awesome Classic looking Rod bag
The rod case was everything I thought it was going to be and has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of outdoor gear!
It easily accommodates three 30 inch Rod tubes and the storage pockets are perfect for leaders and other small gear.
Awesome peice of gear and looks great.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Msgbilko worked well
I purchased this specifically for a fishing trip to Alaska. It was a tight fit for 3-30 inch rod tubes but I put the tubes in a couple of weeks prior and it did stretch enough to allow the zippers to run easier around the corners. Used as a carry-on for flights and it worked well. Also enabled me to carry all three rods in boat or float plane to fishing destinations since the 3 reels fit in the side pockets. The only negative is the flap covering the zippered side pockets is held in place by a magnet. Strap is for looks only. Huh? The bottom line is it worked out extremely well.

Rated 5 out of 5áby BIIIX480 Excellent rod carrier
I would like to modify my earlier review of this rod carrier. I bought two of them. I recently came back after a 16 day fishing trip and I used them extensively. I can say that these rod cases are excellent. I remember I was somewhat suspicious of the magnet catches on the front pockets. No longer. These held up really well with a lot of handling and packing. These rod cases are both nice looking and functional. Thanks

Let me start by saying, "I'm a sucker" for waxed canvas and leather. This is a good looking case made of those materials. The case is well made, practical and very useable. I have three rods that I keep in tubes, and they fit the case perfectly. The pockets are great for holding small lure, and or, fly boxes, as well as accommodating reels.
Perfect for loading up and taking on a trip. I keep a fly rod, a spin rod, and a tenkara rod, and associated reels and tackle in mine. Its perfect for leaving in the van so its always available.
This is NOT a hard type case and I would not recommend for checking in as luggage at the airport. It WILL fit in an overhead compartment as a carry on.
A great piece of travel/storage equipment, thanks for making available.

Rated 5 out of 5áby ZaFish Perfect for shorter trips
Highly recommended. This extremely stylish bag is great. It looks fantastic - it gets compliments just about everywhere - is comfortable to carry, will fit easily in the cabin of a plane, and will carry most of what you need for a couple of days fishing.
On my most saltwater trip I carried three rods (#8, #10 and #11), with three matching reels and one extra spool. I also managed to fit in a few spools of tippet material, clippers, and some flies in ziploc bags.
For a week long trip you might need a bigger bag - one that carries four or more rods - but for weekends and short trips where you won't need more than three rods this is the perfect bag.

Subject says it. Fits four-piece rods perfectly, very rugged construction with heavy-duty snaps and buckles. As I said, a fantastic piece of kit.

Rated 5 out of 5áby BIIIX480 Waxed Canvas 4 pc Rod Case
These cases are very nice. I bought two. They have space for three 4 pc rods in tubes within the designated elastic loops inside the case on one side. Very functional. Depending how much gear you stow one could put another tube down the center. The case is well padded to add protection of the contents. The waxed canvas and leather trim and the olive fabric inside look great. They look like an old trusted piece of luggage. While I have not used them in the field, I am impressed with the above features. They will be used on a May trip to PA limestone waters. In and out of cars and hotels, they will get good use.
The only "issue" I've found is the buckles on the front cargo pockets are held by small magnets. I would be somewhat concerned at this point about placing fly reels in these pockets especially on an airline, considering airport handling. But the jury is still out on this issue. I'll see how these cases react on my pending trip. I am hoping to go to Montana in 2016. Regardless of the magnet issue, these are great rod cases. One can always put other gear in the cargo pockets... A+ LL Bean. I recommend these cases to others

Rated 4 out of 5áby PhilipB Looks great
When I received it, it looked and felt nice, heavy duty and functional. Unfortunately the snap in the handle was broken and I returned it. Unfortunately it is now back ordered for several months. So I look forward to receiving a new one.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Corbey Great product
I researched and this is the best one for flying. With airlines you never know when you will get hassled with carry-ons. With this one:
a) If you have a bag your rod tubes will fit in, then this bag can fold. Put your rods in checked and fold this up. Don't worry, even though foldable it is very sturdy.
b) Unlike competing cases, this one allows you to put your rods (3) in their tubes. So, again if you can't get by the agent, this one could be checked and your rods would be safe in their tubes.
c) It looks great.
BTW - have never had a problem using as carry-on after buying. Just paranoid when it comes to airlines and if you did have a problem you seldom have recourse and still catch your flight.
