What customers say:
Customers overwhelmingly praise these backpacks for exceptional durability and multi-generational use, with many reporting decades of reliable performance passed down through families. Reviewers consistently highlight spacious compartments, padded laptop sleeves, water bottle pockets, and well-designed organization that holds textbooks and daily essentials without bulk. The padded straps, chest and waist cinches, and lightweight construction earn strong comfort ratings, while the classic aesthetic and stain-resistant fabric appeal to users' personal style. A small number report premature strap or handle wear, and a few note quality inconsistencies compared to older models. Overall, most customers consider these backpacks a worthwhile investment.

Excellent purchase!
I bought this for my 14-year-old grandson for his first year of highschool. He loves it. He says it's sturdy and has just the right amount of pockets to keep him organized.

They don't make backpacks like they used to
Used for: Casual or Every Day
I bought this for my husband and the top handle ripped off within 2 months. I bought my son an LLBean backpack and it has a big worn hole within a year.
