The bench had quite of bit of outgassing from the finish. While putting it together I became nauseous and had to stop. I found a label on the bottom, a warning required for Calif

Beware bench is difficult to assemble
Not sure why LLBean can’t sell this bench fully assembled? Paid additional shipping and would have paid a bit more if shipped fully assembled. Directions are clear but predrilled
