bought these glasses for an upstate NY steelhead trip to replace my regular glasses which i knew i would lose after slipping on the first rock. they are perfect for tying flies, finding flies lost in your vest and for mending fly reel explosions. only downside is if you have a beard, the magnets get stuck and will give you a good tug on the whiskers when you turn your head. keep looking forward and they will be your favorite purchase of the season.

I love them! fit right and have no problem loosing them since they wrap around my neck. They are well made and sturdy. Use them in the woods hunting and on the stream fishing. Too many times I need to see that small stuff I used to see but now I need readers . These fit the bill! Use at work too...

Rated 5 out of 5 by OldFlyGuy Great Purchase
Decided to purchase this product after my son mentioned that a lot of the fishing guides & anglers in CO were using them. I had recently had cataract removal surgery that left me needing reading glasses for near vision. I first purchased a pair of traditional reading glasses at a local drug store. Although they were a recognizable name brand and comparable in price, the quality of my first reading glasses was inferior to the Clic Eyewear. In addition I was constantly misplacing them & found myself searching for them several times daily. Although the Clics were initially purchased for fishing use the convenience of always having them hanging around my neck (no more looking for misplaced glasses) plus the ease of putting them on and taking them off quickly resulted in everyday use. I've used them daily for over 2 months now & they remain unscratched. If you're comfortable with having them hanging from your neck or need a pair for fishing I highly recommend them. The keeper is fixed & they don't fold up for easy storage which some might find inconvenient. The bridge seperates in the middle & is connected by strong magnets that keeps the frame properly aligned and firmly held together. The lenses fold in or out when the frame is seperated at the bridge. The keeper itself is fixed but made of highly flexible plastic coated spring steel that maintains it's shape. A high quality product at a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by seawaif Clic Readers - they work
It's simple. They do exactly what they're supposed to do. Quality lenses, the neck band keeps them out of the way - you can lift things, and they are not dangling like with a cord, and the magnet clicks them together. Too, the eyepices are hinged, so if you should catch on something, they flip out of the way.
I wear them daily to work, reading at home, and when hiking on the trail. Great for outdoors, don't have to dig in a pocket to get my glasses to read a map - they're there arond my neck. Then separate, drop back in place, and on with the hike. Handy in the kitchen too, when I have to read a recipe, they are not lost on the counter.
All in all - a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by wayner Perfect For Kayak Fishing
I purchased these glasses with the hope that I could free up my hands for kayak fishing. They are wonderful and have met all of my expectations. Now I can paddle through rapids, cast and not have to worry about finding my glasses to quickly remove a hook for a smooth catch and release.
The glasses are sturdy and the magnetic feature allows them to click in place when needed. No worries about dropping them overboard or struggling to locate them in my pocket.
I purchased the long version to fit my big fat head.
I will plan to order a second pair soon. Very satisfied with this product!

Good quality, clicks into position easily every time. The only downside is that they are bulky to transport when not around the neck. They are not designed to fold and put away. I took them on a sailing kayak, beach camping long weekend once, but never again.
However, overall I like them.
