If you have purchased or received an Osprey AG Plus Child Carrier sold by L.L.Bean under Item ID 301129. The child carrier manufacturer, Osprey, has advised L.L.Bean of a product safety recall affecting child carriers sold January 2016 through May 2016. A cut in the plastic buckle on the shoulder strap can cause the shoulder strap to release, posing a fall hazard to a child in the carrier.

Immediately inspect the buckles on both straps of the carrier harness to determine if there is a cut in the plastic buckle on one or both straps.

If the buckle is cut, you should immediately stop using the carrier and contact Osprey for a free replacement or full refund. You also may contact Osprey and return the carrier for inspection. If the buckle is cut, you will receive a replacement or full refund.
