Summer in the Park

Maine summers are made for being outside together, and this year we’re looking forward to savoring every second with you. So bring your friends and family to our flagship campus in Freeport for free outdoor fitness classes, family movie nights, exciting concerts, and endless outdoor fun – every single day.

Free Summer Fun on Our Flagship Campus

There’s always something exciting to do in Freeport! Get fit, go out to a movie, catch a concert, learn new skills, or just show up any time and have a blast!

For the health and safety of all, we are encouraging concert attendees to wear masks regardless of vaccination status and to use the many hand sanitizing stations we will have on site. Masks will be available. If you are not feeling well or have related symptoms, we ask that you please stay home.

Concerts in the Park

Live music is BACK on the Discovery Park stage – you won’t want to miss this exciting two-day outdoor concert event!

Fitz and The Tantrums
Saturday, Sept. 4, at 7:30 p.m.

Multi-platinum artists Fitz and The Tantrums have quickly grown from independent upstarts to bonafide hitmakers, bringing the infectious energy of their live shows to stages and screens across the world. The LA-based band, whose eponymous 2016 album spawned the group’s biggest hit to date, “HandClap,” recently released their much-anticipated fourth full-length album, All the Feels, featuring singles “123456” and “I Just Wanna Shine.”

Walker Hayes
Sunday, Sept. 5, at 7:30 p.m.

A native of Mobile, Alabama, singer/songwriter Walker Hayes’ music has been lauded by Billboard for its “personal, soul-bearing storylines,” while The Washington Post has stated that “Hayes has broken into the mainstream by sounding different.” Hayes’ debut album, boom, burst onto the scene with the RIAA-certified double-Platinum hit, “You Broke Up With Me.” His latest album, Country Stuff, features the latest TikTok dance craze in “Fancy Like,” and includes collaborations with Jake Owen, Carly Pearce, and Lori McKenna.

Yoga in the Park

Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.
Sundays, 9 a.m.

Start your day right with a refreshing morning stretch in Discovery Park. Bring a mat (and blocks if you have them). All levels welcome. Weather permitting.

Rêve Studio Fitness Classes

Yoga Sculpt
Tuesdays, 5:30 p.m.

Find your balance with this mix of strength training and power yoga flow, accompanied by a high-energy soundtrack to keep you moving.

Tone & Trim
Thursdays, 5:30 p.m.

Use small, controlled movements, isometric holds and functional cardio intervals to develop total-body tone, definition and endurance.

Saturdays, 9 a.m.

Combine high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercises with floor and mat work, for a full-body burn that increases strength, power and agility.

Learn from Our Experts: Outdoor Demos

Mondays, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Before you head out on your summer adventures, get some insider tips from our expert store staff. They’ll demo gear and cover topics including paddling, fishing, hiking, camping and biking.

Maine Maker Nights

Wednesdays, 6 p.m.

We’ve invited some of Maine’s most talented craftspeople to show off their skills, lead hands-on workshops, and share their stories.

Family Movies in the Park

Fridays, starting at 7 p.m.

Gather the family, spread out on our lawn, and have movie night on our big screen in the park. You're welcome to bring chairs or a blanket.


Rêve Cycling Studio Spinning Event

Saturday, July 17 Only

Dance, sprint, climb and lift during this 50-minute spin class, an intense full-body workout set to an incredible soundtrack that helps you keep pace and push limits. Classes start in Discovery Park every 90 minutes, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Registration required – spaces are limited!


EVO Rock Climbing Challenge

Saturdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Head to Puffin Park on the L.L.Bean campus to see if you can reach the summit of the EVO Rock + Fitness climbing wall.

Plus, stick around for outdoor games and activities for the whole family, all weekend long in Discovery Park!

Adventure Movies in the Park
