Louisa Stancioff has quickly established herself as one of the premier musical artists in Maine. Stancioff grew up learning traditional Balkan music from her paternal grandfather’s side of the family and reveled in singing American folk and roots tunes with her friends. Backed by her talented band, her intelligent and soulful writing pairs with a confident and catchy indie sound drawing on folk, rock, pop, and her own Bulgarian heritage. Her debut LP, When We Were Looking, released under Yep Roc Records in 2024, is available everywhere. Louisa and her bandmates all live in Midcoast Maine.

August 2

Known primarily as the founding member of Sparks the Rescue, Toby has been playing music since he was old enough hold a guitar. He spent his 20s touring the world in a 15-passenger van with his best friends. When Sparks started to slow down, he settled back in Maine with his family. The pandemic brought on an unexpected source of inspiration, which led to the first solo EP for McAllister, Daydreamin, followed by his sophomore album Autumn Skies in 2023. He has shared the stage with acts such as Drake White, Kasey Tyndall, Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters, Eddie Montgomery, and Rhett Miller & The Old 97’s.

Maine-based singer/songwriter Pete Kilpatrick grew up with a deep and resounding love of melody. With no formal training in music, Pete picked up the acoustic guitar at the age of 16 and began teaching himself how to play, crafting his own songs all while falling deeply in love with the process. He wrote and recorded his first album, Half Way Home, back in 2003. The next ten years in Pete’s career saw the successful release of six additional albums and over 1,000 live performances, with shows alongside Dave Matthews Band, Ray Lamontagne, Guster, Barenaked Ladies, Jason Mraz, and many others.

Since 2005, Breakin’ Strings has been making bluegrass music with an unmistakable twang born in the heart of Maine. Their hard-driving sound brings people to their feet, but they’re also known to blow audiences away with their strong ballads and tight harmonies. A Breakin’ Strings show is a show you don’t want to miss. Full of great original bluegrass songs and some amazing covers as well, they play every note they feel, and they feel every note they play.

Spencer Albee is a Portland based and nationally acclaimed singer, songwriter and producer. Since 1995, he has toured internationally, signed multiple recording and publishing deals, and worked with artists ranging from David Bowie to De La Soul. Rolling Stone Magazine called Spencer a "21st-century master in the lost art of Beatlesque hooks."

Muddy Ruckus is a “darkly inventive” rock duo according to the New York Music Daily. Guitarist Ryan Flaherty and drummer Erika Stahl of Portland, Maine, play a grungy style of railroad indie punk blues – a stripped-down sound that delivers full rock band energy, blending rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit. In the spring of 2023, the band released their fourth full-length album, Vacationland, featuring 14 red-hot tracks that blend psychedelic rock, punk blues, and fiery lyrics into a sound that’s uniquely Muddy Ruckus.
