I've been wearing these jeans for years, buy 2 new every year, Sizing is always consistent, though my waistline hasn't been as predictable. :)

Rated 5 out of 5áby bluedun Good jeans!
The relaxed fit is comfortable for the hour's drive up to San Francisco. There was shrinkage with washing, cold water & low heat.
Length shortened about an inch and the waist, about an inch plus. Length change gives me a perfect fit now, though, but waist is kinda tight with winter layers, ok in summer. No return, though, I'm wearing them. Next time, I would've add an inch to the waist, but I bought comfort waist, natural fit option instead in my usual size.

These are fantastic jeans. I used to order several pair each year in faded blue and khaki. They seem to be the only jeans in the world that are cut for someone older than 12 years old! Thank you for the relaxed fit version. To my amazement, LL Bean stopped making the khaki in relaxed fit. No idea why. They list the khaki in the slimmer cut and the flannel lined version. Please bring these back! They are the perfect product. I gave these a single star for the terribly bad decision to discontinue the best color! Love the jeans though.

For several years now I've been buying LL Bean relaxed fit jeans and have been completely satisfied with them. I wear jeans nearly all the time. However, I've been forced to look at other brands since these jeans are no longer available in black. I always need a new pair that's deep black to wear as my "formal" jeans. I can say, no other jean I have found fits and looks as nice as my last remaining pair from LL Bean. The regular fit seem to be available in black, why not the relaxed fit. Please, bring back the blank.

Rated 4 out of 5áby blackbagger why no boot cut?
I love these jeans. I have 'older' ones without the elastic in the waist and they fit great. But, I wear boots a lot and the tapered leg is a nuisance. How about making a boot cut--that style is very popular, especially here in Colorado and all the west! I will be looking for boot cut jeans in the future.

After discovering these jeans, I found only one problem with them and that is that now I don't want to wear anything else. I think I have become addicted to them they are so comfortable. I have found no other cloth that feels as good against the skin.
May we always have them avaialble!

My husband is more of an athletic built, so fitting him is extremely hard. After years of wearing baggy jeans and traveling around the state to find some that fit - we have hit JACKPOT! He wore these and called me to say how comfortable they were and to order more.

Got these for myself before the Holidays. I felt they were a touch better than the red I usually wear. Each year around this time I fatten up a bit and need comfortable pants to wear when working with the deer. These jeans do the trick. Love the room I have when I bend over. Big pockets for holding those sugar treats.

Rated 1 out of 5áby NoTaperedAnkles why tapered ankles?
For a company that started making boots and still makes some of the best going, how is it possible that the same company does not sell a pair of jeans that will fit over any type of boot that they also sell?
I have several pair of your LL Relaxed Fit jeans and recently ordered 2 more pair. I think the quality is very good for the price and I like the plain look with no extra stitching on the pockets, but as soon as I get the new jeans, I have to cut them about 1" up along the cuff so that they fit comfortably over regular boots.
You don't need to go back the 1970's and make bell bottoms, but please loosen up the ankles a little bit so the jeans will fit over a pair of hiking boots without having to cut them.
