How do I earn rewards?
You will earn a percentage on all eligible net purchases: 5% at L.L.Bean’s businesses in the U.S; 2% at restaurants; 1% on all other eligible net L.L.Bean Mastercard purchases. You may only earn 1%, not 2%, on restaurant purchases at bakeries and certain restaurants/cafes inside department stores, grocery or warehouse clubs, as determined by L.L.Bean in its discretion, due to merchant codes which are out of the control of Citibank or L.L.Bean.
Bean Bucks are not earned on balance transfers, convenience checks, cash advances, credits, returned purchases, foreign currency purchases, unauthorized purchases, annual fees, money orders, wire transfers, bets, lottery tickets or casino gaming chips, credit insurance premiums, credit protection fees, interest charges, credit card fees and purchases made with Bean Bucks. Bean Bucks may only be used towards the price of merchandise or services purchased from L.L.Bean.
When are my Bean Bucks available for use?
Once your L.L.Bean Mastercard’s monthly billing statement is available, it will indicate the total number of Bean Bucks earned and available for use.
How do I check my Bean Bucks balance?
Your Bean Bucks balance can be found in your L.L.Bean account, my account link. You can also check your balance at llbeanmastercard.com.
How do I redeem my Bean Bucks?
Cardmembers may redeem Bean Bucks in any amount, when making a purchase at L.L.Bean. Bean Bucks are accepted online, by phone or at any L.L.Bean Retail Store or Outlet. Bean Bucks may only be used towards the price of merchandise or services purchased from L.L.Bean. Bean Bucks are not redeemable towards expedited shipping and handling, oversized freight delivery, sales tax, an L.L.Bean Outdoor Discovery Program or an L.L.Bean for Business Purchase, nor are they redeemable for cash. Certain services may be excluded at the discretion of L.L.Bean.
Do Bean Bucks expire?
No, Bean Bucks do not expire, however if your L.L.Bean Mastercard account is closed, not in good standing, or you fail to use your L.L.Bean Mastercard for at least one (1) purchase every twenty-four (24) months, you will not be able to earn or redeem Bean Bucks, and any unredeemed Bean Bucks will be forfeited unless prohibited by law. Do I get my Bean Bucks back when I return all or part of my order?
If you return an item purchased at L.L.Bean, any portion of your payment made with Bean Bucks will result in a replacement of Bean Bucks back to your account, or in L.L.Bean’s discretion a merchandise credit.
I have authorized users on my credit card account. Will they earn Bean Bucks when they use their credit card?
Yes, purchases made by authorized users on the account will earn Bean Bucks. Bean Bucks earned will be added to the primary account.
Can I share or give my Bean Bucks to family members?
Bean Bucks are non-transferrable and only the primary cardmember and authorized user(s) can use the Bean Bucks associated with the account.
How do I pay my credit card bill?
Credit card payments must be made to Citi directly. Payments can be made by phone, 866-484-2614 online at llbeanmastercard.com or by mail: PO Box 9001068, Lousiville, KY 40290-1068. Review your billing statement for details. Payments will not be accepted at L.L.Bean stores or by L.L.Bean phone order representatives.
Can I join L.L.Bean Rewards if I already have an L.L.Bean Mastercard?
No, L.L.Bean Rewards is a separate program. If you have an L.L.Bean Mastercard, you already have access to our best member benefits.
