The Field Coat was first introduced in 1924 as the Maine Duck Hunting Coat to accompany (and match perfectly) with the Maine Hunting Shoes (now known as L.L.Bean Boots). It became an instant favorite and well-loved style through many kinds of adventures. This special edition honors the legacy, celebrates its enduring style and inspires new adventures to come.
