Rated 5 out of 5 by OhioAngler Awesome shirt - light and comfortable
I really like this fishing shirt from LL Bean. The fabric is light and breathes well. As I like to be protected from the sun while spending the day fishing I appreciate the SPF 40 rating. Despite the summer heat I find the shirt very comfortable to wear all day long. I also like that the fabric does not wrinkle as do similar shirts from other manufacturers. As a result this shirt is always ready to wear ever right out of the dryer or the straight out of your gear bag. Will be buying another one in a different color.

Fabric soft and silky, size L Tall fairly trim and not at all oversized, color metal gray quite light, price quite high at $94. Logo lettering kinda big and contrasty, could live without it.

Shirt in medium was too small for me. Your Tropicwear shirts in medium have fit just fine. Also, the fabric in this shirt did not feel as good, the shirt did not seem as substantial and comfortable as the Tropicwears.
I plan to order 2 more Tropicwear shirts to supplement the 4 I already own.

I use this shirt bicycling around town on hot days in western Washington state. Note that the "hot" climate here is usually defined as above 80 degrees F and usually low humidity. LLB's description is correct. The fabric is cool next to the skin, wicks moisture nicely, and dries quickly. My only nitpick is that there is no collar loop to hang the shirt on a hook. Considering how expensive the shirt is, this little affectation would have made the shirt perfect. I didn't want to deduct a star for this lapse in design, but perhaps future shirts will have it. Certainly, my other tropic weight LLB shirts have them. Why the collar loop? Well, hanging the shirt on a hook without one just invites a future tear in the fabric.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Grayhair Nice Shirt, But Not For Me
Good looking, well made. I like the styling, especially the collar. However, for me the material is too "silky" for an outdoor garment. The exact same shirt in a more substantial material, maybe chambray, would be perfect.

One of the most comfortable shirts I have ever worn. Everybody asks me where it came from. My wife wants one but no women's sizes!
I just bought the gray one, so now have 2...
