I love my fleece lined flannel shirts. I have 2. They keep me very warm. I am definitely comfortable in these shirts in 30 degree weather. They're also somewhat waterproof. Can easily layer stuff under them. Highly recommend these shirts!

I owned two of these for years and then lost a lot of weight so ordered a new one in a smaller size. Honestly, there is no way to compare the quality discrepancy except to say it went way down the tube. My original shirts are plush, soft and cozy while this years version is so inferior. I could have bought this one at K*mrt. I'm keeping the one I bought but will not buy the other two I planned because of the lousy quality. What the heck LLBean? I quit shopping at Land's End because of this type of problem and am feeling a bit like this is the track LL Bean is on now. Terrible quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Emmers3141 Comfy, but shrinky
I would give this shirt 5 stars for comfort and color-style (I got a purple one a few years ago), but 1 star for the shape and the fact that it shrunk. The sleeves stopped reaching to my wrists (despite being a Large; normal flannel shirts from LLB are long enough if I order the Large size), but the torso part was still much too large. Good if I wanted to layer with a vest underneath, but those sleeves were still a problem.
So: average of 5 stars and 1 star == 3 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AKgal85 the shirt I've been waiting for!
At last, a plaid shirt just as nice as the fellas get. Very cozy! The size is just right for layering, and I love the traditional colors available. Often, women's plaid is thinner and available in less appealing prints.

Purchased this fleece-lined shirt to replace my much worn, unlined CPO jacket that I had worn since my early teens.
The Charcoal Heather color is beautiful and unobtrusive and the medium size (5'4, 120 lb, 33 chest) is loose enough for layering (Henley's, sweatshirts) without being sloppy. I use it exclusively as a jacket, wore it from November to March last year and I alternated it with, and sometimes wore it under my L.L.Bean Adirondack Barn Coat.
I have washed it several times, with no noticeable shrinkage, and although it appears that there is more lining than shirt, I have had no problem with the lining "hanging out." More importantly, it has not changed the shirts wearing appearance or comfort.

Love this shirt so hard. I have rheumatoid arthritis which means I have to stay warm all year round. In the winter, this shirt keeps me warm and toasty, and that means less RA flare ups. The shirt not only looks good, but feels good. I've gotten a boatload of compliments from friends, family and even the doctor's office. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I bought this shirt in Azurite which is a great shade of blue.
The fleece lining is very soothing, comfortable, and warm next to
my skin. This is my favorite winter casual shirt. I really love it!!

Functional shirts got me through two years of anemia. I told my children I felt like a lumberjack as I wore them everywhere over your waffle henleys. I am glad a transplant let me move on to all your far more fun merchandise.

Bought this for my wife and the men's version for me. It's spring here in northern Michigan and the fleece-lined shirt has become her preferred choice as an outer layer when working in the garden or yard on cool days and on evening walks. She often mentions how warm it is and says it's pretty good at blocking the cool breeze. Her only negative comment was that the women's version did not have hand pockets like the men's shirt. (I'm thinking, hand pockets probably not a good idea for an already relaxed fit women's shirt ... might become unflattering?)
