Rated 5 out of 5 by Folkfester Exactly what I expected!
I camp a few times a year, so I was ready to move onto a bigger and better tent from the 4-person one I currently had. This tent arrived the day before my camping trip, so it cut it pretty close! Setting it up didn't take too long and it was relatively easy to figure out. It was a pretty standard set up. It rained one day of the trip and there was a little bit of leakage in the front of the tent. My advice would be just to put a towel down by the entrance. Overall, you can stand up, it's spacious and has lots of ventilation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by m00nlitmumma great for family car camping
we have had this tent for a year now & when we were looking for a tent I can't tell you how many we looked at... we went last spring to Beans when they had there campers weekend & all the tents were set up outside so we could actually see what your getting...
We ended up with the Eureka Copper Canyon 6 & luv it. last year there was 3 of us mum, dad & 6yr old son fit great with a queen size air mattress our sons sleeping pad & plenty of room left for cloths & everything else. this year we added one more our daughter was born in late may & we've already been camping with her now it fits all of us great. as for setup I'm 5ft 4in, & i can set it up by myself rainfly and all. it's very strong & sturdy. we have camped in 90 dagree temps to torrential downpours & it has tested well.
there are only 2 design flaws about it. 1st is the door zipper the side flap should be a little bit longer where the two zippers meet at the bottom because if the zippers are not together tight rain will come in. 2nd the bottom of the tent should have a thicker fabric on it. the thin bottom did get a tiny tear from a sm sharp rock but was able to patch it. other then that this is a perfect family tent!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Derbywinner1 GREAT TENT, GREAT SERVICE
I ordered my tent on a Friday, and it was shipped to my house on the following Tuesday, as promised by LL Bean. The tent was an easy set up and take down. LL Bean is the BEST!!! No need to shop any where else with quality and service like this!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by LLBEANEMILY THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE
Alright, guys. Hunker down because I have a story to tell. Since I was born (1988), my parents have been taking me tent camping. In 1989, they purchased a green Eureka! tent from LL Bean and ever since I can remember, we have camped in that tent. A couple of years ago, my parents decided to upgrade, so the green Eureka was handed down to me. After many teenage years filled with concerts and festivals with my not-so-careful friends, the tent ripped at Acadia National Park last weekend. I was so distraught - mostly about the thought of saying good bye to a tent that was a part of so many GREAT memories. My friends and I decided to stop in Freeport on our way back to Boston and wow oh wow. After talking to a woman at customer service, they took the green tent with almost no questions asked and presented me with a gift card with the value of the green tent - $240! I was then able to purchase this Copper Canyon tent after putting the difference on my credit card. I cannot even explain how amazing it is to interact with a company that wants you to feel as though you have received 100% satisfaction with their products and not just 99.9%. I will be an LL Bean customer FOR LIFE and I will continue to tell this story to any and all that will listen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CalCamper Disapointed in this Tent
I was happy with this tent at first but after a few years and only a handful of uses, the shock cord on one of the roof poles gave out and the pole fell apart. Without a functioning tent pole, sadly the tent is now useless. This was an expensive purchase and I expected better from LL Bean.

Rated 2 out of 5 by NHTraveler Functional but hard to set up
We bought this tent to replace one we have had for many years. Our previous tent was easy to set up and take down which we do on an almost daily basis on long cross country trips. This one is only for occasional use with children and grandchildren at a single campground. This is fortunate because it is not easy to set up and take down.
The set-up directions need to be in a much more obvious place than the peg bag. It also would be helpful to know in advance that all the seams need to be sealed.
This tent will serve our purposes and we will continue to use our easy to set up 2 person tent for our long trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WeekendExplorer Excellent Tent
Love this tent! It arrived one day before our annual camping trip. I did not have a chance to set it up prior to leaving to test it. No worries!
We arrived at dusk and it was really easy for my son and I to set up in the dark without instructions. It is spacious and I can easily stand up in it. All our gear and then some easily fit in the tent with our cots.
Two small beefs with the tent:
1) Instructions are buried in the stake bag (can it be moved to a more convenient location--like the outside of the bag?)
2) Even with a tarp under the tent, I still got a small tear in the thin floor material.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TCZig Easy to set up; easy to stand up in
The tent was extremely easy to set up. You can stand up in it and it fit 5 of us plus our bags. Everything fit back in the bag that came with the tent, which was nice. The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't have a mat for your shoes outside the tent, which our previous tent had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Llbeanaddictnumber1 Spacious very comfortable tent
This was Our first time camping. We loved the experience, and we can't wait to plan another trip. This tent was great lots of room to walk and stand inside. We have a family of 4. He had warm days this tent has great ventilation we kept the few windows half way open it was very comfortable to sleep. One of the nights we had thunderstorm, some water got in from the bottom zipper at the door and from one corner. Small problem comparing for the excellent comfortable tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MontanaCampmeister Good Value
We looked at a number of 6 man tents before selecting this one. We are very happy with our purchase. The tent is very easy to assemble, easy to take down, and even fits back in to its carrying bag. It slept 2 adults and 2 pre-teens spaciously with room for our gear. The height is great because you can stand up inside. The first night we used it it rained and we had no problems with leaks even though we did not treat the tent or fly with any sealers or repellents. We did put a tarp underneath which I recommend for any tent. The tent is perfect for auto camping as it is a bit heavy for backpacking. The price was very competitive with other tents and the quality was even better.
