Rated 5 out of 5 by michaelgp Great shirt!
Really like the heavier weight. Laundered with light starch this shirt has a great look, fit, and feel. Wish it was available in cranberry and white stripes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TomVee Heavy fabric--not for Southern consumption
I like these shirts, but the the fabric is very heavy and stiff--the better to keep the wrinkles at bay, I suppose . I live in Nashville, TN and I know I will not be able to wear these during the warmer months--as it is even in the winter I get overly warm when wearing these with a sport coat indoors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by scottyscooterpie Poor quality material
In general, I want to like these shirts. They fit me well, they "feel" like they should be durable, and come out of my dryer perfect.
However, every one of these shirts has an "elbow blow out" where my elbow rips through the sleeve in record time. The last 2 I purchased simultaneously both blew out the same week after fewer than 10 wears/washes. This is ridiculous. I work in an office, I'm not hard on my shirts and it's not like I have pointy elbows or something. Even $20 department store shirts don't blow out like this after a year or more! I thought the first couple were flukes but this is a definite quality issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by AuntieVee SO very wrinkly!
I don't usually buy into wrinkle free claims, and I expected to have to iron this shirt when I bought it. But I didn't expect it to be so wrinkly after it is washed and dried. It is much harder to iron than all my husband's other shirts. He likes wearing it because it fits well and he likes the feel of the material but I find myself leaving it out of the shirt rotation because it is so aggravating and time consuming to iron!

Rated 2 out of 5 by SanAnton Faulty sizing
This shirt was marked 32" sleeve length. It was definitely not 32" but longer. Shirts marked 32/34" which most are fit my husband. This one did not. I gave away, so it wasn't wasted. I'm feeling a bit uneasy about ordering shirts at this point.
Only problem in sizing thus a 2 star; otherwise a 5

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cjfonner A Nice Shirt...
I've always had good luck with these classic oxford shirts. They're sturdy, easy to care for, and look "new" for a long time - all at a great price.
I'm 6', 175 lbs, slim/athletic build, and I wear a 15 neck 33 sleeve in the slightly fitted cut. The torso isn't billowy at all, but not snug enough to be restrictive and binding. The perfect fit...

Rated 4 out of 5 by MikeNnC Tightly Fitted not Slightly
I usually purchase the L L Bean "Slightly Fitted" long sleeve shirts, and they fit just fine. This one however; needs to be described at "Tightly Fitted". I am exchanging it for the regular fit.

I own about 10 variations of these shirts- I loved the Classic Oxford Trim fit- was my all time perfect shirt. Since these new(ish) Slightly Fitted Oxfords have been out I have purchased two. Both seem made of a rougher, thinner material. The slightly fitted is a little bulkier. Also both shirts I have purchased have had spots with excess stitching dangling on the outside. And they raised the price about 5$. As always with LL Bean... customer service is spectacular. But I would like the old shirt & the old price back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jana Not the same French Blue as the Pinpoint Oxford!
My son's favorite shirt is the "Wrinkle-Free Pinpoint Oxford Cloth Shirt, Traditional Fit" in French Blue. He asked me to get a second shirt just like it, but in trim fit if possible, and I ordered this shirt in French Blue. This is a nice shirt, but the color is a traditional pale blue, not at all like the bright French Blue as the other shirt. To be fair, the on-line photo is fairly accurate, but, perhaps naively, I thought the French Blue color would be more consistent. All in all, it's a fine shirt with a nice feel and a nice fit in a traditional pale blue.
