Today, there are a total of 417 park sites across all 50 states and 5 U.S. territories, including monuments, preserves, lakeshores and seashores. That’s 85 million acres of land and waters, 18,000 miles of trails and over 11,000 miles of shoreline to hike, bike, fish, swim or just relax and enjoy the view.
