1. How to invite us
To officially apply, just pop a physical copy of your wedding invitation in the mail and send it to the following address between Saturday, February 14 – postmarked by Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Your invitation must include your names, the date and time of your 2026 wedding, location/address, phone number, and email address. No digital invites will be accepted; however, you may print and mail a copy of the digital invitation. To facilitate the Bootmobile’s appearance, you must be 18+ and a legal resident of the U.S.

Note: Employees of L.L.Bean and each of its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and individuals living in the same household of such employees are ineligible.

2. Pairing up
We will contact a small number of couples based on the Bootmobile’s scheduling, availability, and logistics.
The couples will be contacted on or around Friday, May 29, 2026 by official letter from us confirming details and next steps.

3. The celebration
Before we roll up to your celebration, we’ll need you to:

• Sign a contract with L.L.Bean,
• Facilitate communication with your photographer/videographer
• Provide logistics for the Bootmobile’s arrival
• Allow L.L.Bean to provide signage or props that fit into the aesthetic of the wedding!

4. About Photos & Videos
We are not bringing our own photographer or videographer - we want your day captured your way. Instead, we will connect with your photographer/videographer after the wedding to request a small number of images or short clips featuring:

• You and your partner
• The Bootmobile
• Any moments that bring the magic together.

These select photos and videos may appear on L.L.Bean’s social media (including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook), websites, emails, or other brand-owned channels. Any used assets provided by your photographer/videographer will receive appropriate credit to the creator.

By participating, you give us permission to share your names, wedding details, and the photos we receive for promotional purposes. Please keep in mind, not every event ends up featured on L.L.Bean’s channels.

5. What Happens on the Wedding Day
If chosen, our Bootmobile team will:

• Be on-site to help everything go smoothly.
• Bring along fun, L.L.Bean props if appropriate!
• Celebrate YOU! We will make sure your wedding day is all about you and help you build on the day you already have planned.

Please Note: Weather, safety, logistics, and other factors may affect participation — our attendance is not guaranteed, but we will always communicate openly if anything changes.

6. What You Do Not Get
No payments, reimbursements, or free wedding services. No “rain dates”. What you do get is an unforgettable, charming, totally one-of-a-kind L.L.Bean moment for your celebration.

7. Additional Information
Any personal information you provide will be handled according to L.L.Bean’s Social Media Photo Release T&Cs and/or L.L.Bean’s Privacy Policy This campaign is void where prohibited, and is subject to all federal, state, and local laws.

8. Limitation of Liability & Dispute Resolution
L.L.Bean is not responsible for lost invitations, printing or typographical errors, stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible entries, or postage-due mail. By participating you agree that L.L.Bean and its shareholders, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, and promotion agencies shall not be liable for any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the campaign or resulting from the selected couple’s participation in the campaign, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse, of any benefits awarded, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, privacy or defamation. L.L.Bean reserves the right to cancel or modify the campaign as determined by L.L.Bean in its sole discretion. L.L.Bean reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or otherwise violates any terms and conditions contained herein. All disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Portland, ME and the arbitrability of any claim will be decided by the arbitrators. You agree that any proceedings, whether in arbitration or court, will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, representative, mass, or consolidated action.
