Our records show that you purchased or received the Creative Pet Products Sporting DogTM Premium First Aid Kit, item ID 206620. Creative Pet Products advised L.L.Bean of a product safety recall affecting select lot numbers of the saline solution. It was identified that the Medline Sterile 0.9% normal saline bottles were leaking at the interface of the peel-foil and bottle opening. If the peel-foil seal between the cap and bottle is compromised, the product can no longer be considered sterile. Non-sterile products utilized on a patient may increase the risk of patient infection.
For your safety, please immediately stop using the saline solution.
To determine whether your saline bottle is subject to the recall and receive a replacement bottle at no cost, please check the lot number stamped on the bottle. Lot numbers listed on possible affected saline bottles are as follows: 23EJA057,23EJA144, 24AJA025, 24CJA048, 24AJA180, and 24CJA117.
