Meet the Fleet

Get to know the heart and sole of our Bootmobile program – the four vehicles that crisscross the country’s highways, biways, and bootways on a mission to spread the joy of the outdoors.

Sebago – The Bombastic Baby

Launched: 2025
Base: Ram 3500HD Cummins Diesel
License Plate: BIGF00T

The golden retriever of the Bootmobile fleet, our youngest boot is a bit over-caffeinated, with a penchant for blasting heavy metal and a belief that brakes are for quitters. Sebago is already the second tallest boot in the group – and will gleefully remind Bigelow of this fact at every turn.

Baxter – The Elder Statesman

Launched: 2012
Base: Ford F250 Super Duty Diesel
License Plate: LL BEAN

A wise old sole, and the biggest boot of the bunch, the original Bootmobile was built to celebrate L.L.Bean’s 100th anniversary. Now considered R.O.A.D. (Retired on Active Duty), Baxter prefers the parked life, but is always being asked to roll out for another event – undoubtedly contributing to its irritability.

Bigelow – The Wandering Workhorse

Launched: 2025
Base: Chevrolet 3500HD Diesel
License Plate: B00TMBL

Considered the strongest (and knows it) and the favorite (also knows it), Bigelow is often the center of attention. An early riser that’s always ready to go when called on, it’s equipped with a massive “toe” capacity for our mobile selling trailer, but has a bit of a jealous streak when it comes to its height.

Casco – The Reluctant Retiree

Launched: 2013
Base: GMC 2500HD Diesel
License Plate: Retired as of 2025

A thrill seeker on the precipice of retirement (not by choice), this tough old boot is all heart, but a little too worn in the sole to continue adventuring around the country. Afflicted with classic middle child syndrome, Casco is the shortest boot in the fleet – a source of considerable insecurity.
