Our records show that you may have purchased or received a Mountain Safety Research (MSR) brand camping cooking pot. The parent company to MSR, Cascade Designs, Inc., has advised L.L.Bean of a product safety recall affecting select camping cooking pots sold starting in 2008. There is a possibility that the pot handle can come loose or disengage, potentially spilling contents, including hot liquids, which may pose a risk of serious injury.

For your safety, please immediately stop using the camping cooking pot.

Please review the attached recall information from Cascade Designs, Inc., follow the instructions to determine whether your cooking pot is affected by the recall, and if so, submit your information to Cascade Designs to receive a replacement pot handle/lifter.
