Introduced in 1912 for walking the wet, muddy Maine woods, these boots have been appreciated for their superior functionality for over 90 years. Today, gardeners and hunters alike write us to say L.L.Bean Boots are still their favorite shoes for wet weather. Crafted from premium waterproof full-grain leather, with a supportive steel shank and our original rubber chain-tread bottom. Upper portion of boot is lined with warm shearling and can be rolled down and tied with a specially designed lacing system. Boot bottom is lined with 200-gram Thinsulate® Insulation. Triple-stitched for durability right here in Maine. Fit best with midweight socks.
Sizing: To wear with midweight socks, order your regular shoe size. Half sizes order down. To wear with heavyweight socks, order up one size from your regular size.
