Wonderful fabric (I chose the green print) feminine style, down to the just-below-the-knee length. Yes, there are quite a few of us who do not want dresses or skirts above-the-knee. If your usual sizing tends to be on the end of the medium range, going up to the large would be a recommendation, especially due to the rayon knit fabric. As far as the v-neckline design, either sewing in a small snap, a few stitches, or an appropriate jewelry/pin---makes this versatile, tasteful print dress a most comfortable favorite for more than a few years to come. P.S. LL Bean's Customer Service Team.......are the best I've ever encountered!

Rated 5 out of 5 by missushammer Giving 5 stars even though I had to return.
This is a really cute dress - nice weight fabric and cute print. Even though I had to return it, I'd still give it 5 stars since it's not the fault of the dress that the style didn't look right on me. I should know by now that a wide inset waistband just doesn't work out for me. But the dress is super cute and I'd still recommend it.

I'm very happy with this not-too -thin, nicely draping Jersey fabric. Size S falls just below my knees. I am 5'4" and 125 lbs. Just had a double mastectomy and went from 34DD to 34AA. This is a style of dress I could never wear before but is extremely flattering now! I did tack the crossover so it never gaps. It really is a perfect summer dress. Thank you, LL Bean!

I bought this in black, fits perfectly and looks great on. I'm 5' 6". Was so pleased I bought a second one in a bright aqua print for an upcoming wedding. My only complaint is, I wish it were available in more solid colors, a classic navy would be wonderful. Am heading to Vegas soon, the black one is definitely getting packed! Dresses up very nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rhubarb737 Excellent dress!
Purchased this dress in size XS Misses' Regular, my usual size- 130-135lbs, 5'7", hourglass shape, early 30s. I got the navy dot print-I love polka dots!
This dress fits perfectly. It is true to size for me. It is extremely soft and comfortable. The neck line is not too low for me-it does show a hint of cleavage, so if you are larger busted then it may reveal more, but it is certainly far from scandalous, at least by my standards! The cut and length are very flattering. It has a slightly conservative look to it overall, but this is charming and classic in its own way. I think the dress is versatile in terms of casual to moderately dressy wear.
I wanted to comment on the distressed dots as they have been a topic of debate! I thought the dress had solid dots from the pictures as well, until I saw the reviews and if you zoom in looking for that, you can kind of tell. I do agree that they give the dress a slightly more casual look and I would probably prefer solid dots, but I don't think this is a super dressy dress anyhow and the distressed dots still work fine with it for summer and in some ways suit it-in fact from a distance, they look almost solid anyhow. It is always nice for patterns to be incorporated into the fabric if possible as well, but again, this is not a deal breaker. Overall, this is a pretty fantastic dress! Very happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Orchidgirl Flattering Cut, Great Quality
I bought this dress in the beige medallion print, and it's just what I was looking for to wear to a wedding this spring. I love how the print, and even the overall cut of the dress, can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. The fabric is the perfect weight for summer, and is extremely soft--it drapes well and is not too clingy.
I normally wear a 16, and am currently pregnant--I bought this, the sleeveless version, and the maxi-length version to wear throughout the summer, which is the third trimester of my pregnancy. Empire-waist dresses are great for pregnant ladies, or for anyone who'd rather not wear a fitted-waist style, and these are no exception. The XL size in petite length (I am 5'1") in each of these dresses fits me great, and I still have some room to grow...the stretchy material is so comfortable around the bust and waist and really flatters my figure! And the V-neck is the perfect cut...I have found with this pregnancy that my cleavage has become, ahem, a bit more impressive than usual, but this isn't so low that it feels overly revealing...nor does it feel excessively conservative or "old."
I'm so glad I bought these!

GREAT DRESS as long as you are not very busty. If you are really busty you will need a camisole underneath which will make it better. I'm a 38 DD but I think it would be the same for anyone with the size of a D or higher. It will not fit like it does on the model. Also the fabric reveals your underwear line.

The black dress is classy, comfortable, flattering, easy to wear. I am full figured, 5'8" and the style is perfect for me. I wear the dress with a camisole so the low neck is not an issue. I also have the short sleeve in coral rose dot and green / pink floral, and the sleeveless black maxi and sleeveless short in olive gray. I feel terrific when I wear this style of dress.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Elizabeth301 Distressed Dots and Thin Fabric
I'm keeping the dress because it fits and that's really hard for me to find. I was disappointed to receive the dress and find that the dots are distressed. It makes the dress much more casual. The fabric is also thinner than the one I have from last summer in a floral pattern.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sonsonatta Dugger Dress
I bought this for my daughter to wear in an office setting. This dress fits like a dream and is very soft. It is too long and when my daughter put it on she immediately called it a Dugger dress. It looked like something the Dugger Family would wear. If it was 6 inches shorter it would be a keeper.
