I really loved this perfect warm weather shirt. I'm a bit tall in the torso and this shirt is long enough to cover me. It's a perfect blend of not too tight but not boxy and unflattering. I"M SAD THE LAVENDER SOLD OUT SO QUICKLY! I would have purchased another. The aqua is a beautiful shade also and I purchased several colors in this. I am 5'8" and 175 and the large was perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LLBeanMegs Best fitting LL Bean top in a long time
This shirt has a perfect fit. I like the coverage and style, and the fact that it keeps me cool and can dry overnight with a hand washing if necessary. Now I just wish it came in black. Yes, it can pill a little, but agree with the reviewer who said that isn't so bad since the fabric has a slub look anyway. Taking it to Alaska this summer. Would buy more if less pastelly colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by activeB FINALLY, Lime Green!
Enough of the teacup pastels!
I keep hoping LLBean will move on and give the rest of us a few edgy colors to chose from. This was the first item I've seen that gets beyond the "soft clover". I love the fit of the pima cotton tops and hoped that this might just fit both bills - fit AND color, but alas, from the other reviews I see that this particular top is too long and see through.
Darn! ...but maybe hope is on the horizon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by newmidwestshopper Nice fitting pants
I got this in the teal color and didn't find it too thin or see-through. I think the lighter colors might have that issue. I got a medium (I'm 5'4" and 140lbs.) and it fit great in the chest and shoulder area. Neck line is perfect. Not too low or too high. Length seems a bit long, but not too long that it looks funny. The hip area flares out a bit where the seams goes back to the back of the shirt. All in all, I will keep this and probably get another. I plan to wear them for everyday, walking, sporting events, boating, etc. Nice enough to wear as just a regular shirt (as opposed to an exercise shirt).

I really like the seams on this top, and as another reviewer mentioned, I wished the sleeves were a little longer. not everything has to be cap-sleeved to be fashionable! I got an XL in White and L in the lime. The XL gave a little bit more room and wasn't so skin-tight on me. Both colors were slightly see-through though, enough to make me return these. I can see the outlines of my bra and i'm just not into that. I'm sure that problem would be gone with a darker color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Susan99 Good outdoors top for hot weather
Just tried this shirt out on my morning run in steamy weather. It is definitely good quality performance fabric, as expected from LL Bean. It is not a boxy t shirt, although it is comfortable. Attractive enough to wear as a casual t shirt, would be great to travel with. I bought the XXS (thank you for having smaller sizes, LL Bean!), 5'1" 98 lbs. I will say that it is longer on me than on the model, so it should work well for taller women. I plan to use it for biking and hiking as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mamalis comfy with character
I have not actually worn the top yet but wanted to let others know that the top is comfy, stylish, fabric has character and it runs long on the hip. I am 5'7 1/2" and I find that I need to bunch it a little. As long as that is not an issue I would recommend the top. I think it is worth the sale price.

Too long, too thin--those seem to be the usual problems these days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GroverCat fav hot weather shirt
I hate heat but work and play outdoors regardless, and this is the first shirt I grab--cool and soft with imperceptible stretch: it simply never binds. Washes easily and dries rapidly without wrinkles--no dryer needed. Feminine styling makes it cute under my linen shirt, and I've also slept in it while camping. It will develop a slight "fuzz" after long wear, but since it's a slub-cotton look, I don't mind. On my wishlist: a fitness shirt (preferably this one) with a slightly longer sleeve. I know LLB needs to appeal to women younger than I, but I'm not the only one who would buy scads of these if I could wear them comfortably "in public" and not just on the trail or in the barn.

this t-shirt is a really nice cut - flattering and lets you move. However, I had to send it back because in white, it was basically transparent.
