Rated 1 out of 5 by Jono deflated & flawed pump connection design
Aero and LL Bean usually mean high quality- not with this mattress! The mattress worked well the first time I used it but the second night I was left lying on the cold ground midway through the night. I thought it may have been a defective mattress so I returned it for the same thing. The same scenario played out after about the 3rd use!
The pump quickly inflates the mattress. But then you have to untwist the pump and secure cap on it, which takes a couple seconds and causes air to leak out. This isn?t a problem if you like a soft bed, but if you prefer a firm mattress it?s not for you.
Overall, very disappointed.

Used this air mattress twice- indoors only. we didn't even take it camping. the valve where you inflate the bed leaks and will not hold the air in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marshes Extra high queen air mattress
We are in our 60s and tented in Eustis for ten days on this Aerobed Adventure Air Extra-High Queen mattress. It was very comfortable. We came home, looking forward to our own bed with a very high end mattress, one where we go ahhhh each night night it is so comfortable. What a disappointment our home mattress was after sleeping for ten days on the Aerobed Adventure Air Extra-High Queen mattress.
We cannot wait to go camping again and use the mattress. I especially liked the air pump with the built in battery. Very easy to use and made an extra firm mattress.

Love this Aerobed! We camp for 2 weeks each summer & just returned. I actually had a harder time sleeping back on my regular mattress after 2 weeks on the Aerobed! The air mattress is easy to store, easy to set up, comfortable to sleep on, & easy to pack-up... it doesn't get any better than this! The pump held the charge for the full 2 weeks and the bed stayed inflated for the full 2 weeks.
We keep 2 or 3 twin aerobeds on hand for extra company - they're great for all of the reasons stated above.

After an Aerobed I had for years finally stopped working, I figured I'd get a new one for a camping trip in Maine. We used the handy inflater to pump it up at home to see if it worked, and by the next morning it was losing air. We figured maybe it just needed to be pumped up more, so we took it with us camping up to Maine. The 1st night, during a cold and windy thunderstorm, it completely deflated & we had a sleepless night on the cold, hard ground. We happened to be near the flagship store in Freeport, so we returned it asap with no hassle (gotta love LLBean customer service!!) - the rep was not surprised as apparently this is not a new problem. I was so disappointed since I've camped on Aerobeds before and never had a problem, but maybe they just aren't made like they used to be. Hopefully others will have better luck with this air mattress than we did, but I wouldn't buy it again.

We love our Aerobed Adventure Air Mattress! It is the most comfortable air mattress I have owned thus far. We sleep like babies on it. It looses little to no air and stays firm all through the night. I highly recommend this product. It is well worth the money.

It was very easy to set up and take down.
We had guests from out of town, so my son let the guests sleep in his bed and he slept on the Aerobed. He said it was very comfortable to sleep on. Pleased with our purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ep2224 Tall, reliable mattress
Just purchased this mattress for personal use while traveling and for an additional bed for guests. It is much thicker than the last regular (not double high) air mattress I had. It inflated quickly and remained super firm for the 2 days it was left out. The storage bag is roomy so it's not a pain to get the folded bed back in the bag and the pump fits in the bag with the bed. The materials seem very thick and sturdy so I am not too worried about the dog sneaking on the bed in the night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jclrichmond Air bed is fine
Bought the aerobed queen size to use for camping and for guest needs. Went camping on a cold weekend. My husband and I slept on it ok (combined wt about 365 lbs.) but it did lose some air overnight ...enough that it needed touching up before sleeping the second night. I don't think it leaked, but the change in temperature probably impacted it.
Bought this brand over others available because my niece has had hers for ten years. Other brands don't seem to last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TravelFiend Excellent Inexpensive Bed for Guest Room
Rarely have overnight house guests and have made do with double-bed-sized futon couch, but not very comfortable for couples. Learned 3 different couples wanted to visit during 3mon period, so bought extra-high queen mattress (+ sturdy but inexpensive metal bed frame from another store). Amazed at how good it looks, and rave reviews from 2 couples thus far! A few minor issues ? personally didn't like feel of mattress indentations against my skin and was concerned about coolness of air in mattress drawing out body heat during cold weather, so put insulation between mattress/bottom sheet (used two old down comforters, but could use old blankets). Guests have loved setup, and both couples thought more comfortable than own beds at home! Now need to stabilize mattress on metal bed frame, which is flat without sides; if no one is on mattress and someone leans against it, it slips sideways easily, although not a problem at all once someone is on it or wouldn't be problem if on floor. Will try rubber mat used under rugs to keep them from slipping, or just warn guests. Overall extremely pleased with this product ? lightweight (13lbs), stores in duffle bag/closet, terrific rechargeable pump that is fast/efficient, rapid deflation (~1min), and very, very reasonable price, even when not on sale.
