áby drcawilson Compact and Light, Two Zip Sacks in One!
The stuff inside is the same as in any kit. The tweezers and the safety pins are really good quality. I ordered this item mostly for the nice, zippered, ultra-light sack so that I can easily identify the bright yellow in an emergency, and especially in low-light or night time conditions. Then I add and remove items at will. Actually you get two sacks because this kit comes with a separate inner, very thick, waterproof ziplock bag. I use this separate sack in another day pack, having distributed some of the contents into it. Overall great purchase, especially on sale.

Perfect size and initial needed medical supplies for long range backpacing. I used this on 5 month AT Thruhike and used everything in it and replaced it all. Bag kept gear dry and is perfect size for all you need. can even over stuff bag and the zipper holds.

Rated 3 out of 5áby cactusman lightweight medical kit
The kit is lightweight and has the bare necessities covered. The waterproof bag was broken along the seams when it came out of the package. for the price (free with my bean dollars) I'll take it.

Rated 5 out of 5áby HighDesert Very good with a few additions
I like this kit as it quite small and environmentally protected. But, as a paramedic, I have added a few additional components that still fit within the kit: 10 or 12cc syringe for irrigation, 3" wound closure strips, benzoin tincture & opsite flexigrid. Also, consider over-the-counter antidiarrheal meds such as loperamide or bismuth subsalicylate. Remember the meds have expiration dates so the need to replace.

This first aid kit is just what we needed for our hikes around the island. Very lightweight, waterproof and a good selection, great to help out other hikers who have not come prepared.
