I've been wearing the Keen Whisper Sandals for about a week now and am delighted with them. Most happy that I was able to use my LLBean Visa points to get them almost for free!!!
Based on suggestions from other reviews, I purchased half a size larger than usual, and the fit is perfect, with perhaps a little room to spare. I can always tighten the cords as needed.
I walked all over town, and throughout the zoo, on a weekend trip to St. Louis, and was quite comfortable. On the way to STL, I was freezing in the car, slipped on some socks, and the sandals fit well with them, and were equally comfy as without socks!
I got the blue version, and I think they look great with jeans, really anything! I'm ready to send all of my leather-bottomed, blister-causing "fashion" shoes and sandals to Good Will!

this is my second pair of keens and for the first time in many years I can wear a sandal and I dont need an orthotic. They are amazing and very comfy.

I bought the blue ones and I love them! These are great looking shoes/sandals. They are very comfortable and required no breaking-in period. The shoes are also very supportive, yet due to the openings your feet can breathe and do not get hot, perfect for summer.

I recently purchased these sandals and found that they were very comfortable right out of the box. I usually need a wide shoe, but the laces on these sandals are adjustable, so they fit well. The blue color is very nice; not too bright, but summery. They are well made, with an adequate tread and comfortable footbed.

I wore them for the first time today for 9 hours to the New York Botantical Gardens. Comfortable and light. Support, but NOT binding or confining. Fit is true. I bought them for an upcoming trip to Spain. I know they will be a good travel companion. These are my first Keen sandals, they will not be my last.

Before ordering these sandals I read all of the other reviews and because the majority of reviews said that these sandals ran" true to size", I ordered my usual 8 1/2. Unfortunately I should have paid more attention to the reviews that stated that these sandals ran a 1/2 size too small. With my toes pushed all the way to the front of the shoe, there is barely room for my heel to fully rest in the heel socket, but when I begin to walk my heel sticks out over the back edge of the shoe by a good 1/4 inch. Other than this, they are very cute shoes, although I must agree with others that there is absolutely no arch support in these shoes. There is much better arch support in my pair of Crocks than there is in these shoes -- this is a deal breaker for me since my feet have very high arches. I will not be exchanging for the next size up.

I ordered these sandals to replace my last pair of Keen sandals. These are very comfortable and fit just as I had expected. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because when I looked online, I thought the color choices were red, blue, or gray. I chose the red, only to open the box and have a pair of shoes that are really leaning more toward pink. (The actual color name is Barberry). I have returned them and am looking forward to being able to wear a blue pair instead. I would recommend these to ANYONE for all sorts of outdoor wear!
