I don't know what all the complaints about noisy were about, this comforter is perfect.

I ordered a king size and I bought a duvet from LL Bean for it. I love it. It is warm. Fits my bed. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kimmer921 cushy, cozy down-alternative comforter
This down-alternative comforter is superb! It feels just as soft, warm and luxurious as my down comforter. I can't tell the difference.
Everyone in my family is now vegetarian, so we no longer buy products made from geese or other animals. I so much appreciate this option!

Rated 3 out of 5 by zeech Not warm enough!
Guess I'm the oddball reviewer for this item. Don't mind the crinkly/crackly sounds the comforter makes, but I need 2 additional blankets (both Vellux) in addition to this comforter to keep me warm at night in 60 degrees. The additional blankets make the whole shebang too heavy and cumbersome for my liking. Will sadly return this comforter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RigDriver Outstanding Comforter
The comforter is very light and warm. (like down) I bought it so I can turn down the heat at night when I go to sleep, to conserve a little energy and keep the bill a little lower. It works great, I would recommend this item to anyone. LLBean does it again. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by zeech Beautiful comforter...but...
Bought this comforter along with flannel comforter cover. Bought cover because of allergies and didn't want to go wash comforter in commercial washing machine (at laundromat) every week. Figured I could remove and wash cover every week in washer at home. Well, it was quite a struggle to get the comforter into the cover. There are 4 ties inside cover that can be tied to the 4 loops on the corners of the comforter. Problem: Both comforter and cover need more than 4 ties/loops in order to keep comforter from major shifting within the cover. I struggled with these items for 45 minutes before I concluded that this system was not going to work for me. Returning both comforter and cover. Sigh.

I am very pleased with my new down alternative comforter. I wanted the Down one, but I am allergic to feathers, so I am happy you have something for me that is very warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MarineArcticInstructor Winter Update
This Item was noisy when new, almost as if it was wrapped in plastic. We have washed this comforter about 4 times (in our home washer) and each time it came out quieter and more comfortable.
Last winter, my wife kept turning the heat on to about 70 with our wore out down comforter. This year, our bedroom literally gets in the 50's and we are toasty warm. Sometimes, we have to peel the covers back to get some air.
If you sleep very cold, this is the comforter for you. (we bought the medium weight version)
The difference between this and down, is that this comforter can be washed, washed, worn, washed, and washed again and still hold its loft and warmth. Down simply cannot do that. A down comforter is superb to this in every way for the first year, but this comforter can perform this way year after year. Primaloft is made with the human in mind. Beat it up, wash it, and beat it up some more. You will not loose effectiveness over the years.
This review was intended as an update to my last review. I can only say that this comforter has gotten better with age.
Lifetime Warranty. Sold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by vivicity Perfect Primaloft Comforter
We looked far and wide for a warm Primaloft comforter to replace an old one and found many were hard to compare as they only featured references to the fabric thread count (not that important if you're going to put a duvet cover on it), not the fill weight.
Thanks LL Bean for providing enough information to make an educated choice!
As a different reviewer noted for the "warm" comforter, this one too is "noisy", like a plastic bag, but it hasn't bothered us.
Love that it has the little loops in the corners to attach the ties that some duvet covers come with to, keeping the duvet cover in place.
Great quality. Evenly warm and comfortable for a wonderful sleeping experience. Very happy with our purchase.
