Rated 5 out of 5 by TheDogsCar Should Come With Every Boot
My shoe size is 10.5 EE. LL Bean recommends, when buying their boots, to buy a smaller size. For someone with a wide foot, that can be a problem. So, I buy an 11, and install these. These are thick enough to take up the additional room, and make a big difference in insulating the bottom of my feet on cold/snowy days, or when I am standing still (e.g. dog run). If I need more insulation, on the side and tops of my feet, I can take these out and put on a double layer of wool/hunting socks.
My feet are never cold and my LL Bean boots always fit fine!

I love my shearling insoles. Use them in my very old L.L. Bean slippers to replace the worn out insoles. Almost as good as new! Very warm and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappeeCamper Even warmer Bean Boots!
I recently purchased these insoles for my shearling-lined Bean Boots. Although I wore the boots all last winter without them, I'm a sucker for all things warm and cuddly!
A couple things to note:
- The shearling is sewn to a standard EVA foam insole, so they can't really be trimmed down.
- The insoles fit my "narrow" width boots just fine (my biggest concern once I noticed they couldn't be trimmed.)
- I used these to *replace* the original insoles of my boots; there was no need to downsize (though I imagine you might have to downsize if you cannot remove the existing insoles.)
- If you have a ladies boot, make sure you refer to the size chart to order the correct size.
Looking forward to another snowy winter!

Rated 4 out of 5 by BackwoodsBozo Just the facts
Fact: shearling makes a great footwear liner that absorbs and dissipates moisture will keeping our feet warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Fact: shearling underfoot feels great when new but packs down flat with use (although even then it provides some insulation and moisture dissipation).
Fact: to maintain comfort the shearling underfoot must be periodically replaced, like putting new oil into a car engine...
Fact: LL Bean shearling liners are a reasonably priced way to rejuvenate flattened shearling insoles to restore comfort and warmth.
Fact: You'll always need to eventually replace them so buy a spare pair so you'll have one handy when the time comes.
Fact: you need to go up a size on these if you plan to put them inside Maine Hunting Shoes/Bean Boots.
I rotate a pair among my Maine Hunting Shoes/Bean Boots, put another pair into worn Wicked Good Sheepskin slippers to make them feel almost new again for both winter and summer wear and have a third set for occasional use in other boots or shoes. Oh yes, and a fresh spare so I can replace them without having to wait for new ones to arrive.
In case you're wondering I'd like to see them have even thicker shearling so rated them 4-stars instead of five.

I bought these because the boots I bought are not lined with anything soft. They're so comfortable!! It's like having a little pillow for my feet! The only thing is that they're thick and so they take up a lot of space in your shoe.

These are very warm. Do know that they will decrease the size of your shoe because they're thick.

Was looking for a foot bed to help keep feet warm, Found these at LL Bean and put them in my house slippers on top of the bottom currently in it. My toes are nice and T O A S T Y now. I will be ordering another set for a pair of shoes I wear. If you get cold feet you should try these out they do help out . Most shoes offer no insulation from the sole and the ground these are awesome. I wear a size 11 1/2 4 E and Customer Support suggested the 12's . They fit perfectly. My Feet Thank You LL BEAN.

This item is worth every penny. I initially ordered 2 pairs to fit both of my bean boots. Unfortunately, they were on back order and I wouldn't receive them until March. On a whim, I called a llbean retail store that thankfully had them in stock. I ended up buying three pairs (+1 for my mom). I am so pleased with these insoles. They keep my feet super snug and warm. It was suggested to go down a size than what you ordered in boots. Perfect, perfect, perfect! LL bean continues to amaze me. Great product and great price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by fxstcrider restored my worn wicked good slippers
The fleece insoles of my LLBean wicked good slippers had become compacted, thin and worn in spots. Other than that, the slippers were in great shape. I used a pair of these insoles to replace the worn out ones, and I am very happy with the results, but not the effort that was needed to do this. The quality of these insoles was at least as good as the originals, and the fit was nearly perfect. The length was right on, but the width seemed a little narrow to me. The original insoles are stitched and glued in place, which probably makes for easier production, but makes removal very difficult. I wish LLBean would just use slip-in/slip-out insoles like these when they make the slippers, to make insole replacement simple and easy.

I purchased these to line my Bean Boot Rubber Mocs which are my 'go to' slip-ons to take out my dog -- winter and summer, throughout each day. They fit like they were made for each other and feel really good regardless of the outside temperature. A smart purchase!
