Rated 4 out of 5 by GailGC Best value, but...
This shirt does shrink. I measured a new one against one I have washed a couple of times and it shrank a full inch. I DID wash in cold water only and DID take it from the dryer before it was fully dry. Still I have continued to purchase this shirt, mostly white and black because I don't really like these heather shades. It remains a great value for a V-neck T-shirt, better than Chico's all day long, which used to be my pick. I will continue to buy this shirt when they add better colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by VeggieBeaner It's not how you wash, it's how you dry...
I love this shirt. I ordered three of them to wear under my scrub tops for work. It's always a little chilly in the hospital so I like to wear a shirt with a three-quarter length sleeves to keep my arms warm. The material is very soft and feels lovely against my skin. The length is perfect for me; it hits me just below my waist...and I'm long waisted. As for shrinkage...wash in cold water and DRY it on a cool setting till it's almost dry, then hang it up to complete the drying process. No-to-minimal shrinkage. If you do this for all your clothes you'll maintain them in pristine condition. Yes, it takes a little longer and is a process, but having nice clothes is worth it. Overall, this is a great shirt and I will buy again in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LindaLJ Shrunk!
I've always loved LLBean 3/4 sleeve T-shirts and ordered 2. So disappointed, they shrunk the first time I washed them. They are a bit shorter to start with from previous years. I washed in cold water just as instructed. LLBean needs to preshrink these shirts!

Rated 2 out of 5 by yakcat V neck 3/4 sleeve t-shirt
I love these t-shirts and have bought many over the years. The low rating is due to your current color selections which are mostly bland heathers. Please bring back solid colors with some vibrance. Last year I bought a lovely green but gave it to a friend who admired it. Now I want to see more colors including the greens you had last year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sdwaldon Bean's Tee, Three-Quarter Sleeve V-Neck
I have bought so many of these shirts over the years I forget how many. When and if they got too short for me I passed them to my sister. I may say that the color stayed true and didn't fade. Only one thing I would love, love in these is more length. I would say these have been my all time favorite t-shirts from LLBean second only to unshrinkable t-shirts, which I also have too many to say. Thanks LLBean for a great product. Just make them longer and bring in more summer colors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by pimatees inconsistent sizing
I am very disappointed that this V-Neck that I ordered in Mineral Red has to be returned. I own at least six of these V-Necks in Size Large, and this new one is 2.5 inches longer and 2" narrower (around) than the others. The color is beautiful and the quality seems fine, but the sizing is way off. It's very frustrating to run into this inconsistency.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DogSocialWorker I own many LL Bean shirts
I like the color because it has grey tones mixed with blue which make it ultra casual. Regarding fit, the LL Bean shirts are too snug in medium and too large in large, I have many of each size; it's always a quandary which to order. I should have bought this one in large because the arms are snug even though my arms are quite slender. The issue is COMFORT, NOT FIT because I am not overweight at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by toastedmarshmallow REVIEWERS "WANTING SHRINKAGE?"
I do not understand reviewers who say they "want" or "expect" shrinkage and I hope Beans is not making T shirts longer for this minority who are too casual about washing/drying their clothes or maybe don't know how to prevent shrinkage when washing cotton T-shirts. LAUNDRY SUGGESTION TO KEEP THE T-SHIRT THE SIZE/SHAPE YOU LOVE. When I buy a NEW T-shirt and it fits perfectly, here's what I do to be sure it will keep that size and shape after washing/drying. 1). While still new, on a flat surface, MEASURE THE SHIRT (I generally measure width across bust, at bottom hem and length from back of neck to hem) and write down these measurements for future reference. 2). I dry all of my clothes on "low heat" AND TAKE THE T SHIRTS OUT OF THE DRYER WHILE STILL QUITE DAMP. 3). Refer to the measurements you have previously written down, and "block" the T shirt to this size on a flat surface (easy to do because still quite damp). Avoid wrinkling in long and short sleeves by folding the sleeves over the top of the shirt. (And for those of you who feel compelled to iron your T-shirts, drying in this way, smoothing out the fabric as you go, means that when dry, your T-shirt is smooth and set to go; no ironing needed!) Yes, this means devoting more time to your laundry, but to me it is worth it to ensure that my T-shirts keep the same size and shape. My clothes are an investment, and I like looking good (don't we all?). When you are "expecting" or "wanting" shrinkage you can never be sure of the size/shape of the shirt you will end up with. Take the extra time with a shirt that fits, makes you feel great when you wear it and you will never be disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by suzybart Not long enough!
The fabric is fine, good quality but poor fit! The top fits like a box. No shape, wide at the bottom, hits at high hip and I am 5'7" I really wanted to like this, but the fit just won't do.I am sending it back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by toastedmarshmallow SHIRT IS TOO LONG!!
This T shirt, size M is 25" long, a full 1" longer than you made Beans Tees in this size in the past (same issue with another Beans Tee I ordered this year). This length is too long for me, looks more like a tunic. Very unattractive and will be returned. AND WHY ARE YOU NOT OFFERING BEANS TEES IN THE SHORT SLEEVED V-NECK THIS YEAR? That has always been my favorite, most comfortable summer T shirt. It fits well (in the 24" length you made Beans Tees in for so many years), I prefer the more substantial fabric of the Beans Tees to the thin pima cotton and find that a V-neck is a lot cooler in hot weather than a crew neck. Very, very disappointed.
