Hometown Celebration
A Tribute to 100 Years on Main Street
Join us for four days of fun right here in our hometown of Freeport, Maine. You won't want to miss a single day of our biggest celebration ever, planned in honor of L.L.Bean's 100th anniversary. Come enjoy a whole host of events for the entire family, including live music, outdoor games, food and our spectacular fireworks display. Be sure to bring your lawn chair for free concerts every evening in L.L.Bean's Discovery Park.
JULY 4
Kick off the holiday weekend with our 35th Annual Road Race, then watch a traditional Fourth of July Parade march down Main Street – look out for the L.L.Bean Bootmobile! Our free evening concert will feature popular country artist Jo Dee Messina.

We'll close Main Street for an enormous all-day street festival with local crafts, food from area non-profits and plenty of live entertainment for the whole family. Make sure to stop by L.L.Bean's Adventure Park for outdoor games and field day fun. Our Hometown Celebration will end with a free Chris Isaak concert, followed by our spectacular fireworks display—don't miss out on these incredible shows.
