MAINE DEPARTMENT OF INLAND FISHERIES AND WILDLIFE
Building Inland Fisheries and Wildlife’s Future One Step at a Time
Bill Pierce is a longtime member of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (IFW). For 10 years, as part of their Information and Education Division, Bill has worked tirelessly to promote IFW’s programs and initiatives throughout Maine, and it shows in his many successes.
Through national television spots and Web- and print-based media, Bill has helped to highlight Maine as a destination for hunters and anglers from around the country. His work to brand IFW’s logo lead to successful fundraising efforts for several of the state’s conservation programs. Most notable are the corporate sponsorships Bill established that aided the IFW with several large projects, including a mobile information booth, numerous outdoor education publications and endangered species programs.
According to his colleagues at IFW, Bill’s knowledge and enthusiasm for the outdoors make him an ideal Maine fish and wildlife ambassador, and all look forward to his continued efforts to protect, enhance and promote Maine’s natural resources for the future.
