We've noticed that rawhide laces, like the ones on our Wicked Good Moccasins, have a tendency to come undone. I'm going to show you how to tie your laces securely using the Seaman's Shoelace Knot.

First, tie a left-over-right starter knot. Make the ends into two loops and cross the right loop in front of the left.

Feed the back loop forward and under the front loop. At the same time, feed the front loop behind and under the back loop.

Finally, grab hold of both loops and pull them tight. You might have to squeeze the knot together while you pull.

There you go: a nice, finished knot that will stay put.
