Rated 4 out of 5 by vpsafety I like it better in cooler weather
I bought this for a trip to Florida last summer, but it felt hot and heavy against my skin and I just HAD to take it off (I was still wearing a tank top!).
I found this shirt was perfect, however, while backpacking a tiny, Mid-Atlantic stretch of the Appalachian Trail in October. After I'd worked up a sweat getting to our campsite on the ridge, this was GREAT to put on over my wicking tee and block the chilly winds while still letting me dry off.

Rated 2 out of 5 by spender222 Crinkles and not comfortable
This is a rare negative review for me and LLB clothing. I thought this would be like the solid color tropicwear shirts that I bought at the same time and love, but it is not. The colors are amazing and made me want to keep the shirt, but the crinkle / rough texture of the shirt was too much and I returned.
If the fabric is improved I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Twinsgma Love This Shirt
I bought this Tropicwear shirt for the first time last winter and again recently. I was familiar with the shirt and style having at least two similar perfectly good ones from recent years, but the aqua teal color was irresistible for my wardrobe. I wore it most days during our vacation in Hawaii in March as well as in the sun at home this summer, always as a sun-blocking top layer. I don't button it but wear it open, more like a light breathable sun-blocking jacket. And then I lost it, leaving it somewhere while traveling. Had to buy a replacement...do hope someone found the first one and is enjoying it as much as I did!

I don't know what the buttons are made of but they do not easily slip into or out of the button holes. A real pain in the neck. Otherwise I love the shirt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Calliope10 Fit a slight problem
This shirt is good looking and survived its first washing, looking good after being hung up to dry. I was worried about the fabric, but it was comfortable even on a slightly humid day.
The fit for a size 12-reg. was fine in the sleeves and shoulders, but it was a little tight in the hips, which is fine if I tuck it in. I think that it will be a good travel shirt, which is what I need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Annettebry Great in every way
I write this review because a review helped me select the Tropicwear shirt. I bought two and after receiving them ordered the third one.
The fit is perfect. I am slim and the cut is perfect for me, whereas a larger person might find the fit a bit tight. The colors are more appealing in person than in the picture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ladybug1978 not for tropics
I recently bought this shirt to take with me on an African safari. I expected a light, breathable fabric but what I got was a shirt that could easily out perform my windbreaker. It is a very attractive print, lightweight, and I expect it will dry quickly. However, it is certainly not comfortable for use in a tropical climate. So much for "Tropicwear..."

This is my 2nd shirt of this style.
Perfect for summer - out-doors and cool air-conditioned spaces.
Would buy a 3rd in another color.
Make sure not to cancel product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FlowerNebraska Fitted is snug
Looks like a nice shirt for outdoor wear as intended and nice color. Size large fit well across shoulders but runs too narrow below the bust. Also would like a bit more room across the bust. Would prefer, in other words, a casual fit rather than fitted.

I purchased 2 of these for my granddaughter. She works in the sun and I thought these would benefit her, along with sunscreen. They are beautiful and comfortable shirts. She likes the fit and look very much. I would order more if she needed them. They seem to be working as promised , blocking sun.
