Rated 1 out of 5 by Pete88 Bring the Zip Style Back
I had bought the zip style of this boot for years and loved them. This new style cannot compare in comfort or durability. The ease of the zipper was a huge plus. The new style is too difficult to get on. Unfortunately I will have to look elsewhere for my winter boots in the future.

I had a pair of the zippered comfort Mocs, which I loved, but a zipper broke and the style had been discontinued. These pull-ones are the same size but NOT the same shoe, sadly. There is a very high back, split for Achilles' tendon, that pushes the whole foot forward, crowding the toes and forcing the whole shoe to fit poorly. Without the inner orthotics of arch support, there is nothing to hold the foot in place. I will be returning these and making do with the broken zipper pair until I can find a pair like them. I do hope the supplier for llbean will reissue the zipper model, as they are perfectly comfortable and warm too!

I bought these at the end of the season and they are so comfortable that I hated to see the winter change to spring!

I bought these comfort mocs because my previous pair (that I had been wearing for about 15 years!) fell apart. With the brutal winter we have experienced here in Massachusetts, I needed a replacement pair fast. I loved my old ones they were so comfortable and very broken in. Now of course my new ones are needing to be worn and become more giving but they are so warm and comfortable to keep my feet cozy and not wet from the still remaining snow. The grip pull tab on the heel helps get them on because they are stiff in the beginning but they are loosening up. I am very happy with them and look forward to another 15 years of comfort and warmth.

I was looking for a winter shoe to wear every day for walking my dogs. These seemed a little pricey, but I know the LLBean quality is always great so I bought them. They are perfect! I've worn them every day for the past month and my feet are always warm and dry. Some reviewers complained about the fit, and they seemed a little too roomy in the toe box area at first. But I just added another insole from a pair of sneakers and now the fit is great. An unexpected perk is that they don't look like winter boots - they are nice enough to wear with slacks (although I usually wear jeans.) They are definitely worth the price and I highly recommend these shoes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by bakergj7 Very comfortable, waterproof shoe
I found this shoe to fit well and it definitely was as described. I also like that it is waterproof and that it came in wide. LL Bean is a reputable company that backs up it's products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ChristieH Comfortable once they're on
I really like the fit of these boots once they're on but it is a little bit of a struggle. The back of the heel is too soft and it crushes down so they can not be slipped on - you have to wedge your fingers in there (which is tight) or get a shoe horn or else it folds right down. That was a little disappointing but I like the way they look and fit; they're warm, and the sole was reliable on the snow and ice this winter.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SewKatt Too Heavy, Too Stiff
These are not the right shoe for me as they are too heavy and stiff. I have a high arch and the opening into the shoe is too small and it is a struggle to get them on. Once on, they feel very clunky and heavy and I do not enjoy wearing them. I am going to return them.

I ordered these in the colour "Twig" which is a great all season colour. I wear custom orthotics and anticipate a knee replacement surgery, next autumn. These shoes have deep foot bed which accomodate the orthotics beautifully. The wide fitting is very comfy but not sloppy. Yes, they are somewhat tight when first putting them on around the shoe opening but use of a shoe horn and wearing them stretches this out in time. Highly recommend them for Spring and Fall.

I got these in time to use them while we were still getting snow. My feet stayed warm and dry even in slush. Then it rained and I had a chance to test them in puddles-I walk my dog around my neighborhood and some sidewalk sections are lower than others and get filled with an inch or more of water, forcing me to sidestep onto hilly lawns (which I don't like due to the slip-and-fall risk), and these shoes passed the water test! Well worth it. Best when worn with medium or thick socks.
