I usually love New Balance and bought my usual size. This shoe is tight with no give, has a short set of lace holes and even then the laces are almost too short to tie. My feet hurt during the first wearing so I bought insoles. Still painful. They're just not well constructed. I am light and fit with no foot problems. Very disappointed,

Only complaint is that the collar of the sneaker is very tight, making it hard to get them and off. Does not seem to loosen up with use. Might be related to the non-slip material of the laces. Have a very narrow foot but that does not help the on and off issue. Have had many sneaks but none that fit like these do.

I really wanted these shoes to work. I ordered the black pair and they are super cute and stylish. Unfortunately, my feet rolled inward and I just couldn't wear them. I had foot surgery last year, so its my messed up feet and not the shoes.

I only wear New Balance shoes and always size 10 to allow for socks, but this model runs short in the length compared to the many other models I've purchased over the years. Otherwise looks fine.

These shoes look great and, after I added innersoles, they also feel great. And I like the Magnet/Soapstone colors, which go with my casual wardrobe. But New Balance could have made the laces a little bit longer. The innersoles I bought are only 1/8" thick, I am of normal weight and my feet are not any fatter than average, but the laces are barely long enough to tie.

These shoes are incredibly light and very nice looking. I would recommend them for light to moderate activities or just as a daily shoe to wear with jeans. The arch fits me a bit ahead of where I'm accustomed but otherwise these are very nice shoes. I thought they would be more true red but the watermelon description of other L.L. Bean customers is perfect! I haven't worn the shoes so can't attest to the durability or comfort over time. They definitely seem like the high quality that is the trademark of New Balance.

Very good sneaker for the price. I wear a size 8W and didn't think 81/2 would do. I just cannot wear orthotics' in med width. It would be nice if you could carry this sneaker, or one similar, for the same price.

Shoes fit well---true to size. Good support. Will be using for a walking tour and at the gym. Didn't give them five stars--waiting to see how they stand up to regular wear.

This was the first time I bought "fitness shoes" and I'm glad I did. I usually were walking shoes or hiking shoes. I was impressed with how lightweight they were, but they also had a good amount of cushioning. I'm new to fitness classes and such products.
About the sizing, I agree with ordering half a size up. Unfortunately, being a normal size 10, I had to order a size 11. There probably just a bit longer than I needed, but the 10 would have been too short.
