Rated 3 out of 5 by Woodrat Poor Sizing
Size chart is not accurate. Nice jacket but I had to return it for a size larger. When I went on-line, size I needed was out of stock. LLBean took 8 days to ship this item - largely due to problems at UPS. I wonder if the size would have been in stock if it was delivered on time as promised? LL Bean has good service but products are not what they were in the past - lower quality, not true size. Not the same LL Bean as 10 years ago - sad.

I followed the size directions by LL Bean, and ordered a size larger
The coat is still too tight through the shoulders

Rated 4 out of 5 by twilly almost perfect for me
In my quest for the best casual jacket, this is almost perfect, for the reasons stated in other reviews: size, fit, pockets, material. My only quibble is that the solid Navy color is so dark and monotone it lends a too-formal air to what is a rugged canvas-like blazer. Seems to contradict the material. Since it is dry-clean only, this color will not likely fade. In my opinion, if LLBean made this exact jacket in a sunwashed or slightly weathered look, it would be fantastic. Please!

I was really disappointed with this item. It's described as a "cotton blazer" but the fabric feels more like canvas. It's boxy and stiff and feels like wearing a tent -- which to my mind is where the fabric would have more appropriately been used.

LL Bean shipped me a coat that someone had previously altered and returned. I am very disappointed that they would allow this to happen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ProfessorS Nice Coat; Sized a Bit Small
I like the coat a lot, for all the reasons other reviewers have given: fabric, pockets, color, price. However, I had to return it because it was too small. I ordered the same size as all my other blazers and sportcoats, but this one was too tight. No, I haven't gained weight! :) I'm hopeful the next size up will fit correctly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FleabitPeanutMonkey great casual jacket
I live in San Diego, and bought this to wear as a lightweight winter jacket. I wear it over a t-shirt on warm days or over a shirt or sweater on cold days (which means 50 F...we are soft here). The canvas material looks great with jeans and casual shoes or Converse (we also dress extremely casually). I love all the pockets.
I'm 6'5 220 with an atheletic build. I bought a 44 Tall, and it fit great out of the bag in the arms and shoulders. It was big through the midsection, though, so I took it to a tailor and had it taken in. Considering it was only $130 for a jacket of this quality, I had no problem paying another $40 to get it tailored. LL Bean's stuff tends to last forever, so I'm sure I'll get my money out of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AustinTexas I have three. I wish for one more
Several years ago I bought an olive and then a blue cotton blazer. The blue is a little faded, so I bought another navy one within the past year. Yes, they fit perfectly. Yes, they look good, Yes, they are a perfect weight for Texas weather. Yes, I recommend them. I came on the site this morning, because I wished to find another one that is black. Just a suggestion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by algoa Just what I wanted
Recently purchased the 46 regular blazer in khaki/green. I am 5' 11" and just under 200 lbs. A pretty standard model.
The blazer fits me perfectly. It is very well made and stylish and is just what I was looking for. As the web site explains it has useful internal pockets.
Nice cotton blazers are difficult to come by. Very happy and satisfied. A great buy.
