Rated 5 out of 5áby DJ65807 Cozy bag that stuffs very small into a backpack
I used this bag for a backpacking trip. I didn't use the stuff bag, but just stuffed it into the bottom of my backpack. It was extremely light weight and warm but stuffs down into a small space.

I received this bag late this spring where here in the Pacific Northwest it is still a far cry from warm during the day, never mind at night, but I just had to test out my new sleeping bag. So I left the warmth of my home and headed out to our well loved, but not insulation at all old Westfalia in the driveway. Not sure what to expect, I admit that I did have all the bedding we usually use in there (a down comforter, a wool blanket, a fleece blanket and a set of flannel sheets) all left set up on the bed, just in case I got cold, as I am one of those people who is always cold! The temperature outside was at 9 degrees celsius, which is about 40 degrees F., but to me that may as well be icicles outside! So I got settled into the van, bravely only wearing a t-shirt and cotton bottoms with my socks and thought I would give it a try, only to awaken a couple hours absolutely drenched! I was so hot I had to take off my socks, undo the zipper a bit and even cracked a window to make it thru the night! Anybody knowing me knows that for me to be that warm is exceptionally unusual! So when the weatherman called for a drop in temperature the next week that would bring the temperature right down to around the 35 degree rating, I was out to the van to experiment again, with pretty much the same results! I am over the moon excited because if this bag can keep this always cold camper that toasty warm when the temperature is right on the border of what is being recommended, then I would have to say for the average person, with a more "normal" personal heating system than my body seems to have that this bag will almost surely deliver not only to the temperatures promised, but potentially even better! I cannot wait for when we set out next week for the next four months of being on the road because for the first time ever, whether I am backpacking across Europe in the spring, or camping here in on the coast in the spring thru fall, or taking road trips with our trusty, but incredibly cold old VW, I know that no matter when or where we may travel, even as we head into fall that this year for once I will be totally comfy no matter where we go!
