This chair was the most uncomfortable chair I ever sat in. I am short and the seat did not fit me. No adjustments. When you sat in it the bar on the bottom is what you felt.
My husband I both ordered this chair the same day. I open mine and tried it. We both said the same thing, it is going back. He never opened his. The next day we sent them back.

I am a volunteer EMT and ordered these after sitting for 8 hours at a fire standby and had tons of back pain. I got these and sat for 3 days at a fair. I didn't have any pain and actually was so comfortable I slept in one. Other members of the squad would fight who was sitting in them. By far the best purchase ever. The case that holds the chair could be changed a little to maybe a side zipper? Since the chair is a little bigger than normal it takes a little work to get back into the case but nothing to horrible. Hands down the best folding chairs ever! I can't recommend these enough and would be ideal for airshow or car races.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Out4theday Most Comfortable Folding Chair Ever
I purchased this only after seeing the last two online reviews. It seems some previous reviewers didn't like it's size, but bigger is better! Sitting in the chair at the LL Bean Store in Freeport, ME sealed the deal for me. It is roomy, has NO pinch points at the knees and is perfect for a day of relaxation. It looks like a traditional Adirondack chair but folds three dimensionally and has a comfortable padded seat and seat back.

Great chair! Good size and very comfortable. I regret not buying earlier because of some of the previous reviews. The chair is not heavy at all and is great size. If you are looking for a tiny fold up chair, this is not for you. Don;t hesitate to buy this.

I love to go to the beach and must admit that finding a comfortable chair is a bit of a challenge.
I am somewhat overweight and not too agile so finding a chair that would be sturdy as well as easy to get out of is a task, this chair met my requirements and beyond.
It is comfortable and easy to transport since it has a carry case,
It is not heavy and I can manage to get it to the oceanfront with ease.
I highly recommend this chair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ColoradoGardener seat too small
This is a very large chair but the bottom part where you sit is very small and very uncomfortable. I tried it camping again this week and found it very tiring to sit in for a long time. I will be returning it.

The Adirondack chair I purchased came through a catalog order, thus I was not able to sit and try before I bought. It is bagged which is a nice feature, however, after the first time out of the bag, it was very difficult to put back in. I needed another person to help me! It does set up easily and quickly, and it is LARGE!! But upon sitting in it I found it to be very uncomfortable. The seat is small and the angle of the very large back tilts at an angle that is not at all healthy for one's back. There is no lumbar support either. I was very disappointed and needless to say it was returned.

Had to return the chair. The photo did not give an accurate scale of the true size of the chair. It was too large. I was looking for a smaller chair which would fit easier into the back of my Corvette, and would be easier to carry around.

This chair accomodates my 6'5", over-270lb. bulk with gusto. I initially bought it with camping and other outdoor lounging in mind, but found it so comfortable that I use it daily on the small (roughly 8' x 4' balcony of my apartment. It is extremely comfortable, and definitely seems sturdy!
It is notably larger, and somewhat higher, than the wood and All-Weather "stationary" chairs in the Bean catalog.
