Great pants. The fit is relaxed but not too relaxed.
They shrink about an inch over a few washings so if they are too long, wear and wash them a few times and they will be good.
i just wish LLBean would keep them in stock year around. Inevitably I try to order some in the winter with my $10 promo gift card from Christmas shopping and the color I want is out of stock, without even backorder abilities. The same is true now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by pagrammy52 Love the pants.......but not the fit!
I was so excited to receive these pants after reading all the good reviews. I ordered my usual size 10 med tall but no way could I button the waist. These pants were definitely made for an hour glass figure. I exchanged the pants for a size 12 & the waist was better but I still had to move the button. The only problem now is the overall fit. The rear area is a bit baggy as well as the legs. I kept the pants because I really like the material and the feel. Bean pants do tend to run a bit small in the waist.....I only wish they sized womens pants the same way they do mens, by waist & length.....it would make like so much easier for alot of us older women!

Rated 4 out of 5 by JessieSea Fits just like the picture
I ordered these because the size 4 was not available in the "stretch cotton chinos" which is the style I prefer. I am 5'4" 118 and these pants in the size 4 regular fit just like the picture. The length is above the ankle which works well for certain shoes. A wide leg, the pockets are nice and deep. High quality, great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Skysailor Great for na hourglass figure
Other reviewers who said these are best for someone with an hour glass figure are correct.. my waist is a 6, my hips an 8. And I really like the wide legs.. these are not fitted pants. The fabric is softer than a twill but very substantive.. good quality.
I tried these on in the store but they did not have my length, MT. I just ordered 2 pr. in white for next summer.. nice price Bean.

I have been looking and looking for the right khakis but hadn't tried these because the photo and name made me think they would be worn-looking and too casual. Actually they are just perfect, soft but not with that frayed or sloppy look, and substantial fabric, not too thin. And... THEY'RE FAVORITE FIT!!! Thank you! Very comfortable with little bit lower waist. Great fit, great look, simple and classic.
I second the other reviewer's request for a darker khaki, though the stone is a classic and very nice. I'm going to order several more pairs to stockpile them!

These pants arrived yesterday. I tried them on and they are nothing but PERFECT in every way. The material is heavy and nice, they are the perfect length and color. I only wish they came in black! I order Size 10 Medium Tall . . . I may go back and order the Navy!

I was looking for khaki color but I can't find llbean pants that are petite, plain-front, straight-leg in khaki color that sits lower - strange, I thought it would be a common selection, so i got the Stone color instead in Petite 4, i'm 5'2'' and 110lbs, the Favorite Fit is very comfortable! the 28'' inseam works great for the summer, but it'll be great if customized 29.5" made available someday.. -- If you make this in KHAKI color, I will buy again!

I ordered the size 6. It was snug around the waist - which was also lower than I prefer, and tight around the inner thighs (My problem area, admittedly) BUT, inexplicably, they have a lot of extra fabric on the outside of the legs that just bulges out empty. This fit doesn't even make sense to me. Kind of like the horrible "curvy fit" that also doesn't fit my curvy body at all.
This is my second pair of awful khakis from Bean in this attempt to get something to fit nicely this spring. I'm 0 for 2. One more try and I'm looking elsewhere. By the way, the fabric is just ok.
I can't wear their jeans anymore either. The nice stretch jeans I used to buy they don't make in a straight leg, if they are even still making them, so I'm buying those elsewhere now. I've been a loyal customer for years but I'm not a happy camper these days.
