Rated 4 out of 5áby mmkz Nice pack but not quite right for me.
The pack is so cute and a great size for just what you need for a day hike without being cumbersome and in the way of scrambling hikes that are more challenging. I think- I haven't tried it on a hike. It just doesn't feel right on me. I am 5'3" female 130 lbs and the specially designed shoulder straps just didn't feel right. And the sternum strap is too hard to adjust. It also felt kind of short for my torso. The Osprey raptor, a men's pack, felt by far and away better. But I think it is REALLY a good idea to order a few and try them out- pack them with your gear, adjust them to fit you, wear them around. I definitely am glad I did. It's hard to tell from looking online.

Rated 4 out of 5áby SJAP Perfect for nordic center skiing
I needed something that I could stash my winter layers in as I discard them during the day, as the temperature rises. I didn't want something too big & bulky. This was just the right size. I love the stash pocket for putting things that might have gotten damp, like gloves. It's narrow, but has lots of depth. Very comfortable, not too hot on my back, lightweight and has lots of nice features. I can see how women with a longer torso might not be able to wear it though. In backpacks that are sized, I usually wear a small or extra small, and it fit me great. The only thing it doesn't have that I wished it did, is a pocket in front for easy access to chap stick. Love it anyway!

Rated 3 out of 5áby Montanara a nice pack but for not for "serious" use
I am returning this pack for several reasons. It is too short for me (5'5-Ż"). The hip belt falls at my waist, which is not only uncomfortable, but the weight of the pack cannot rest on my hips as it should. This isn't a problem if the pack is used around town, traveling, or short walks in the park, but I wanted it for all-day hikes on rough mountain trails. For that use, I would also say that the side flaps on the belt are too short; they should come farther around the torso (a couple of pockets there would be nice too) for more comfort and stability. They should also have more padding. A set of loops for attaching trekking poles would also be useful. It's an attractive pack that will be fine for many people, but I wouldn't recommend it for serious hiking. The front pocket on the one I received was sewn on crooked.

I bought lily 18 day Pack as my second option for walking 130 km of TheWay, El Camino in Santiago De Compostela in Northern Spain. It became my number one bag! 100% score for fit, comfort and durability. Storage was more than adequate, we brought a lot of rain gear and everything fitted just fine with room to spare. I often get neck or back pain when carrying a back pack, I hadn't one moment of discomfort with this bag. We had a lot of rain the bag was certainly water repellent, but not water proof, I used extra waterproof sacks which proved very useful inside the pack. Lily is a must for anyone looking for a mid sized pack , I'm 5ft 3 in height

Rated 3 out of 5áby LongTimeHikerBiker Good design overall but some flaws
I really wanted to like this pack for use as a day backpack. It was the right size (I am 5'5"), slender frame. I liked the overall design. It felt good on. However, the straps in the front that are to lock the frame in place from around your shoulders did not hold. They slid easily with every movement. So the pack felt loose, not like it was strapped on, and felt like the weight was riding on my lower back at all times. That is my main issue with the pack. A few other points: The design of the water bottle holders included elastic around the top. Made it difficult to draw the bottle out while hiking. And lastly... no small outer zippered pockets. My last LL Bean pack had 2 and I used them all the time. Women like pockets : ).

Rated 3 out of 5áby Snoopy57 Nice but not what I Expected
I don't know maybe things have changed since we've been ordering from LLB since our early 20's but when I saw the term daypack I thought it would be a nice size all around light hiker pack but when I opened it it was much smaller than expected. Picture was deceptive in making it look larger than it was and for that reason will be returning it. But if something small and light is what you are looking for it is probably fine. Liked the color alot but not the size.

This pack is a great size for short hikes. I just love the smaller size even though the chest strap is a little high for someone my size (5'8"). It feels great on my back and I am happy to have a smaller daypack.

Rated 5 out of 5áby PRMOM Great Day Pack
I purchased this for our trip to Alaska. It was a great bag to carry everything needed for the day from rain gear to sunglasses. I am only 5' and was looking for a smaller bag. This was just the right size.

I absolutely love this backpack. I have used it twice on Katahdin and all throughout Acadia. I have a 3L reservoir and it fits fine within the pocket. It is a great fit, especially clipping around the hips. My only complaint is that the felted pocket was a little bit bigger, as sometimes its hard to fit my iphone in their with ease. Lives up to my standards :)

Rated 5 out of 5áby DakotaMom44 Great size
Purchased this for day trips, trail walks and vacations. Great size for a day trip, just the right number of compartments and comfortable to use. I was tired of carrying a purse which constantly slipped off my shoulder so this is a great alternative. The teal color is fun, glad I made the purchase.
