Rated 5 out of 5áby djenner A pricey solution but worth it
This is the second Adventure 30░ sleeping bag bought in the last year and a half since we moved from town to the middle of NYS.
It's not because we are dedicated campers. It is colder here. Substantial covers are good at night -- and sometimes, not perfect unless well tucked in. Opened up, these bags are perfect as a duvet (with enough to fold about one's feet -- warm feet are good). When the temperature drops, zip up and climb in -- even warmer. [We haven't gotten round to zipping two together, but that looks like it would work, too.] We are fond of birds; synthetic stuffing works well for us that way, too. The vivid blue cover is attractive, the "taffeta" inside feels nice and is easier to keep clean than less costly bags' cotton flannel.
There are less costly bags, both at L.L.Bean and the big-box discount stores. They are not as nice. There are substantially less costly synthetically stuffed comforters at the big-box discounters. These bags seem a better solution, and store easily in large storage sack which comes with the bag (along with a stuff sack for those who must go camping...).

I have not used this yet, but the reason I ordered it is because if you order two you can zip them together to make a double sleeping bag.

These bags are perfect for our kids. The feel of the material is great. The bag isn't too heavy to lay on for a warm sticky night like a flannel bag might be, and it feels great on a cold rainy night as well. Bag takes a bit of work for my 7 year old to stuff, but I told her it builds character. It would be nice to have a few different color options to make it easier to tell them apart.

These sleeping bags are warm and comfy. While the corners are rounded on the bottom, the sleeping bags do zip together well and you do not loose warmth. The top has a Velcro inside to really hold in heat.

His kids were thrilled that their dad got a sleeping bang. I think they have camping plans!

At first I was disappointed with the quality compared to the ones I had bought 20 years ago, but was pleasantly surprised with the warmth & comfort. No need for flannel lined. These warm quickly and keep you comfortable all night long. I do wish they had a straight, squared bottom for zipping two together, but it's still doable.

Rated 5 out of 5áby 2relocatedMainers 30^ sleeping bag
I usually sleep on a sleeping bag, then put blankets/quilts from home on top but I wanted to pack light on this camping trip so purchased this additional sleeping bag. It was light yet warm. I kind of like the older style that opens up with a straight bottom edge so it would cover the end of the air mattress but for my daughter and myself, there weren't any issues of our feet not being covered while sleeping. Don't know how it does at temps down to 30^ but certainly met our needs on recent camping trip quite nicely.
