Rated 5 out of 5 by LesIsmoor Excellent wind/rain pants
Very comfortable. Not too baggy. Easily fit over my high Boggs. Warm over leggings and light pants down to zero F. With wind and lower temps, needed another layer. Nice adjustable waistband. Good side pockets. I will get a ton of use out of these.
I'm 5'6" or so, and weigh about 135. The length and fit of the small regular worked perfectly for me.

I'll be wearing this at the finish line during ski racing and also this summer for rainy golf.

Rated 2 out of 5 by rmschrey Only buy if you have a tiny waist!!!
I needed ski pants and these were such a deal that I went ahead and got them in a size large. Which fit perfectly except I can not even close the waist area. Unfortunately, I needed them within 12 hours after they arrived, so I skied, with the top undone. Go up a size unless you have a wasp waist.

I bought these to wear snow shoveling with a base layer underneath. I'm 5'3" 145 lbs. and got the Petite Large. There is enough room to move around and shovel snow. I think if I wanted to wear them over hiking pants I would need the Petite XL. I tried shoveling snow in them while it was drizzling and the water beaded up. The 29" length is a bit long on me. I think LL Bean should consider 28" for the length of these in petite.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ChristineTK Great pants, strange fit.
These rain pants are just perfect and function as they should, but the sizing was unexpected. I usually don't like the pull up style, as the elastic waist doesn't offer adjustment and the seat gets all lumpy and baggy. Not the case with these, at least for me. I have a bigger waist and am straight through the hips. However I bought a size small in petite, and I am neither one! (5'6' and 135 lbs) The regular length would have dragged in the mud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by franfair LOVE these pants
I walk for transportation, commuting on foot through suburbia and along some hiking trails. These pants are great for fending off wind and wet. They're comfortable, have pockets, and even look reasonably good on me, passing for normal pants at a casual viewing distance. I have trouble buying pants because my hips are a size 2 and my waist is a size 12. I bought the XS regular and they fit fine over my jeans or long underwear plus jeans because of the adjustable waist. I'm 5'4" tall with short legs and they are almost, but not quite, too long for me, so, if you are very tall, they might not be long enough. I really appreciate the full-length side zippers because I can put these on in a sudden downpour without having to sit on a wet bench to get them on, and because I can unzip them from the bottom if I get stuck on an overheated bus (when I've got too much shopping to carry home). What else can I say? These are great rain pants that keep me comfortable on miserable days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Madge Nice quality But Not Stylish
I'm 5'3", weigh 118 lbs.--The small petite fit very well--The reason I returned the pants --they have a zipper on the outside of each leg that runs all the way up to the waist---while convenient, the zipper is rather pronounced and made the pants look bulky or wrinkled on the outside leg. I've tried other pants with full length zippers that are much less noticeable. Pants were of good quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tinkerfarmgirl Best snow pants ever
I bought these pants to wear over my warm leggings for when I tredge through deep snow on my farm while feeding horses and doing various other outdoor work. These pants have kept me completely dry and allow plenty of room for me to move around, kneel, jump fences, etc. A+ pants.
