Rated 3 out of 5áby BlackSquirrel Sleeves too long
The fabric is very attractive and comfortable but the sleeves are unusually long and the cuff openings very large with only one button on each cuff (i.e. no adjustment).

I had a women's ivory chamois shirt that I wore for ten years. I wore it all the time -- skiing on Friday, over jammies on Saturday, as a jacket to church Sunday. Well, last year it got a hole in it. I ordered a few more and they weren't the same. Not as thick, not as soft, not the same fit. I thought I'd just be patient and wait for the winter catalog. No women's chamois shirts this year! A sales lady recommended that I try the signature men's slim fit. I'm forever grateful. The sleeves are a little long but I like a cuff anyhow. They are the same thickness, softness, and fit of my old favorite shirt. I bought two. Now if it just came in ivory...

Rated 5 out of 5áby Sheboygan This Is a Slim Fit
I could not resist the 1933 classic red plaid and it's just as bright and vibrant as the photos on the web page. This is a very high quality chamois fabric and is certain to get softer over time. The buttons are big and really nice.
I'm what I consider normal size at 5'8" and 144 lbs and with a 41" chest and 31" waist. The size medium just fits my shoulders with the sleeve seam landing right at the edge of my shoulders. Sleeve length is just right at about 34". The body of the shirt fits fine and is definitely a slim fit-- especially compared to the normal full fit of the LL Bean Chamois shirts. If the shoulder was any tighter I could not wear this and as it is will need to use a very light undershirt to keep it comfortable.
This also looks to be a cold wash and hang to dry because I'm concerned that any shrinking from the dryer will make it too uncomfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Rosewater Great fit! Great fabric! Great shirt!
The fabric and fit on this shirt are great! I'm 6'3" 190 lbs. and the slim medium tall fits perfectly. It's rare to find a tall version of a shirt that fits so well!

Rated 5 out of 5áby DanC97x An excellent shirt for the money.
I read the reviews before I bought this. The 1 star reviews were laughable and didn't speak to the quality or value of this shirt.
The shirt is very well made and I found the fit perfect. The material is nicely finished and feels great against the skin, very soft and comfortable. Here in Texas this will get by as a winter jacket. For a $50 shirt it exceeds quality of most shirts in that price range. You won't be disappointed buying one if you want a great looking, comfortable warm shirt to throw on when the chilly days arrive. I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews and bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Mack1970 Great Chamois Shirt
Please remove the flaps on the front pockets or at least offer "no flaps" for those who don't like them. That's the way the used to be. I've owned 2 chamois shirts for over 16 years and now they are wearing out. However, I won't buy another one until I can get "no flaps". Thanks-

The shirt looks and feels great. Unfortunately, it's not at all slim. I compared it to some of the major brand slim fit shirts in my closet, and it's about 4" wider (2" front and 2" back) at both the chest and waist. So it's really just a standard fit. I'm keeping one to wear as a shirt-jacket, and returning the other. I love LLBean shoes, but I will not be buying any of their 90s-style oversized shirts again.

Rated 1 out of 5áby BeanguyinWI new plaid disappointing
I have several of the solid color 1933 Chamois Cloth Shirts and I really like wearing them through the Wisconsin winter. I bought one of the new red plaid shirts and was very disappointed. The fabric of the red plaid is nothing like the fabric of the others. It has none of the characteristic nap on either side and so really doesn't resemble what I expect in LL Bean chamois.
