Rated 5 out of 5 by Flore Very comfy
Although they are a bit difficult to put on, they end up being very comfortable and sturdy. My feet never got cold (altough the last time I skied it was -1F).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alpaca19 Pretty good, but watch out for your ankles
The X5 is comfortable and warm and has excellent stability. The fit is good (I wear size US 8.5 in street shoes, 9.5 in running shoes, and 41 in the X5 ). The one problem is - as another reviewer has mentioned - extensive rubbing just above my ankles. Nothing that a few strategically placed compeeds can't deal with, but still, not quite right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by csukef67 Excellent and warm!
Bought these boots about a year ago as part of my first cross country ski package, and love them to death. I live in a fairly cold/windy part of the country and these boots have always kept me warm! I use them mostly for touring but i have taken them backcountry into the Adirondack park and they were great. Decided to write a review after seeing the less than positive remarks. I have never been disappointed with these boots!
I am a narrow women's 81/2 - 9 and bought a 40 and the fit great.
Wasn't crazy about the fluffy gray lining on top, but i usually wear these with gators so i really don't even notice them now.
I would highly recommend!

I have heavy ankles and for the X5 boots to zip they had to be very large in the foot. I worked with LLBean and they recommended a different style of boot, the X2 for me. We did the exchange and the different style works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Goldenwinds Great boots
I just received these boots and, based on the reviews, I was quite concerned about them. These boots are GREAT. I ski almost daily and these boots are wonderful. I wear a size 8.5 and the 41, with a relatively heavy sock, are perfect. The faux fur at the top is nice around the leg.

Sizing is off. I am normally 40 European, however 42 is still snug. One boot is is very constricting on top by the base of toes and it is impossible to adjust. I have reviewed this boot before, but it was not published then. I've tried to break in the shoes since, but it still hurts.
I do not recommend this shoe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by RidgerunnerPowderhound sore ankles
For me the Women's Rossignot x5 cross country ski boot is a nice looking boot and has a comfortable fit in the toe box and heel; however, after an hour of use I developed open blisters above my ankles where the top of the boot ends. There does not seem to be enough give or cushioning in that area. Of course, this may only be a problem for certain foot/ankle structures. You would really have to try them to know. If you do, do not wear them too long before checking any soreness on you ankle area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RochesterNH excellent fit, warm, great ankle support
I was worried about fit for my size 7 foot as there is no equivilent eu size. The size 40 fit perfectly with moderately thick socks. Very comfortable and offered a lot of stability.
