Rated 4 out of 5áby StriperSurf Emerger II Waders
I surf fish the NE and the EmergerII's have been very good for me. They're light weight, easy to walk in and with a pair of fleece pants I can wear them in the coldest of water without getting cold.
The one issue I have, and I believe it lead to my last pair leaking, is the sizing. I wear a size 10.5 shoe so I had to order the large waders. Problem is I'm only 5'10" 160lbs. The large size has a 33" inseam 47" chest and a 38" waist. This leads to the extra breathable fabric tucking inside the boot which fills with sand and water causing rubbing and leaking. They appear to be made for tall, robust people with small feet.

I bought these waders as a replacement for some old Sims Bootfoots I had (and loved). I read on line that the boot sizes ran small and usually taking a size 12 I ordered the 13. Of course, the size 13 boot just fits but that boot size only comes in the XXL. Not being a heavy weight, I'm swimming in the rest of the wader. It would be helpful if you could get the size 13 boot in an XL wader which would make the fit much better. One other minor problem....the velcro that holds the flap pocket shut has torn away from the wader after only one use....doesn't affect the water tightness or the comfort, but disappointing none the less. Other than those problems the waders keep me dry and are reasonably comfortable other than the size issue. My recommendation would be to order the next boot size higher than your usual size and be prepared for a roomy fit. I would probably not order these waders again considering the price.

Rated 1 out of 5áby Saburo Men's Breathable Emerger II Waders, Boot-Foot
Very much disappointed with this product. It leaks from the seams early as after 5 months of usage in the surf environment. I have already return this product 3 times in the past 2 years with the same reason.

Rated 4 out of 5áby upnorthjeff Good - but stitching came out
Overall a very good pair of waders. I am disappointed that during the first use, the stitching on the small inside pocket near the chest came out and separated the pocket from the waders. Not the kind of quality I would expect from LL Bean. It didn't affect the performance, just annoying and makes the pocket unusable.

Rated 2 out of 5áby longbeachbass Tight fit in the foot, limited flexibility...
Previous to these waders I had owned the predecessors, which were only around $225.00, they fit nicely. I bought these in the same size and a boot size - they are way too tight. Perhaps I need a size larger, but they don't feel like they are worth the price. Will need to send them back after a few days of field testing them.

The new style of Emerger II waders run smaller, need a size bigger than your regular size worn

Rated 4 out of 5áby Edfish Comfortable, light weight, good fit
A pleasure to wear and able to put them over heavier clothes. The only thing I don't like is the label stating "don't dry in the sun".

Overall good product. Boots really don't need as much insulation and could be improved by being compatible with screw-in metal studs. Superior product compared with others advertised as similar by competitors.

Rated 5 out of 5áby bycfarmer A product that does the job
Worked great right out of the box on the Beaverkill, Willowemac, and Delaware in MidMay. At 74 years old I was worried about footing but they did the job. If I have one criticism it isn't with the product it is LLBean's shipping with a combination of UPS/USPS--if they had used either one I'd gotten them 2 days earlier.

Rated 3 out of 5áby JoeGBreezy Emerger Waders
I just upgraded my waders from the Fly Weight II bootfoot version which leaked heavily ( suddenly ) after 1 season of light use. Upgraded to Emerger II bootfoot waders which I have worn in salt water about 10 times and already have detected a slight leak in the crotch/front area.
I am easy on these products...not too much stretching and bending and rarely any rocks. I expect more than a few wearings. Waders should go at least two seasons minimum before springing any leaks.
