Rated 4 out of 5�by Sebascodegan Solid Product The SportDog DSL 400 is a great, solid product. I've been using the device on my English Setter for almost 10 years and find it simple and dependable. I especially like the fact it uses a replaceable battery (123A) which can be replaced in the field, unlike a rechargeable unit. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that turning the device on and off requires two hands; this is problematic when you'd like to [quietly] rest your dog, but have a shotgun in one hand. To turn the collar off, one must rotate the cap of the battery compartment while holding the base of the beeper. I understand simplicity is what makes the device durable, dependable, and affordable, but a rubberized button or the like would make this great beeper a truly superb one. October 21, 2015
