Rated 5 out of 5áby tloveanimals Just the right warmth
Wanted something between a windbreaker and heavy jacket. This is a wonderful warm well made jacket where I don't have to wear 4 layers to stay warm. We have been to Arizona and New Mexico in February and would have loved to have this jacket at that time.

I've been buying this jacket for 30 years now and miraculously it now doesn't fit. Amazing, since I've recently lost 20 pounds and x-large suddenly is too tight. I guess "vanity sizing" has drifted into LL Bean. Too bad, I always loved this coat.

Rated 5 out of 5áby ReBarMan Great jacket....
I wear a large, and this jacket is pretty much properly sized. The "regular" has adequate length to it, and I am a 35 sleeve, so the TALL would have been a mistake.. It does every thing well, and has not shown anything annoying about it (yet). I went with the moss-khaki, and I will probably get one other in navy or gold.

I've had this Gortex lined jacket for 13 + years and it still looks good as new. Returned it once for a zipper problem and it was returned to me within two weeks.I just washed it and it seems to get better with time. My favorite after all these years. Wish it would wear out to give me a good excuse to get a new one; just might do that, anyway!

Rated 5 out of 5áby ChristineTO Buy this jacket!
These jackets are versatile, attractive, and with a fleece layer underneath, they are good to -20C. Good wind-resistance - in a boat in the shoulder season for instance. I say "these jackets" because I liked the first so well that I bought a second for colour variety - and then I bought a third! My wife agrees they look great, so didn't mind my going a bit overboard.

I love outerwear, and am constantly searching for the perfect jacket. I've tried all of the latest tech wear, but always come back to this as my everyday go to when it gets down below 40 or so.
Fit is just right (not too tight#. Cut big enough to wear a sweater underneath, with no unnecessary bulk. Fleece lining on body is cozy. Thinsulate and linings in sleeves make it easy to get on and off. Outer shell easily repels wind and snow #and lint).
FYI, the moss khaki color is more of an olive drab in person, but it looks good with the grey lining.
Fantastic product at a very good price.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Casimm Great Coat for the Money.
Bought mine a few years ago, use it now and then. Light fits well, looks good. I like it a lot, warm enough, durable, one of my favorite coats. I have the tall, since I am tall. More coat too, more coverage.

Rated 3 out of 5áby ArizonaBeanGuy snug
Every piece of outerwear I own is size large, so when I found this to be a bit snug I wondered if I needed an extra-large, if only to be able to wear a sweater under it. As it turns out, it's so warm and snug that when I wear it over nothing but a long-sleeve t-shirt on a cold day, I'm perfectly comfortable. The down-side is, it's so snug -- and the material doesn't breathe -- that I'm soaked in sweat when I take it off.

Recently bought the jacket in XL as the jacket tends to run a little small in my usual L. This is the second one I've owned. The first one served me well for many years and remained in good condition. I donated the first one to the Viet Nam Veterans. The new jacket is in Warden Green and instant favorite. I look forward to many years of service.

Rated 5 out of 5áby TomKY Excellent jacket
Excellent jacket. Not bulky. This is a warm jacket but I think it's greatest attribute is it's wind resistance. I wear this jacket daily to work and have an approx 200 yard walk from my car to the door. we have had temps in the 0 to -1 and have been very comfortable. I think if I had to spend a lot of time outside I might need to wear additional clothing, but I for going across a parking lot or standing outside pumping gas in -2 degree weather with a 10 mph wind it is great. Just went through freezing rain and it held up great. I love this jacket. I have been trying to justify buying this for the last year but glad I did worth every penny
